I needed something to keep my mask strap from getting tangled in my long hair. I also needed something to tell my mask apart from my husband's on the fly. This fit the bill! Easy to slip over the mask strap, and no longer was there any snag to my poor hair (this strap also helps keep my hair in place, no slipping at all)

HI I bought 2 of these. Put one on a Atomic mask and the other a Cressi. Even if it is a sbug fit you can just fold over the silicone strap and it is not even noticeable nor can you feel it when diving.Hope that helps. For me they "suck". Caused my strap to slide off my head constantly no matter how tight a set it. I've got short hair so they may have contributed. I've talked to a couple women about them an they liked them. They all had long hair. Hope this helps.

I am not sure. It seems that most straps are fairly universal but as you know, sometimes ordering by mail requires trial and error.

I don't own the Aqualung mask but I don't really believe this strap is designed to fit the web type strap on your mask. The seascapes are comphy but made for the more basic single strap that you can unhook on either end and thread the strap threw the seascape.

No, it is in lieu of the strap. You remove the original strap and replace it with this one.

There isn't any Velcro on the strap. It's made of neoprene and the mask strap slides throught it like a pocket.
