Dive Cap does its job

Wife used the cap to keep hair clear from the dive mask. It worked great on dives in Roatan, Belize and Cozumel. Yes, I would recommend this item.

The fit is great. Unfortunately work has gotten in the way and I haven't been able to try it out in the water.

This little beanie beats the chill and is a smart addition to any diver's warm water gear bag. The skull cap design and moderate thickness (2.5mm) allow it to provide good thermal protection without the constricting feel of a full hood. The anatomical shape and multi-adjustable hook and loop neck cinch also give divers a precise fit.

Sport Cap (Beanie) is manufactured from premium nylon 2 neoprene rubber with flat-locked stitched seams for comfort and durability. The flat-lock stitched seams feature mean when you remove the beanie you won't look like the B&O Railroad runs around your head at the end of your dive. Beanie has a non-corrosive plastic D-ring attached to the chin strap, comes in multiple sizes from and is black in color.

Cynthia A  Is the cap water tight? I usually swim in fresh water. The product and extensions in my hair are not friendly to salt water. Going on a cruise and want to snorkel. Hoping this Cap will allow me to do that. What do you think?
darrick c  Hello Cynthia, no this would let water in the cap. I would not have anything that would keep your head totally dry other than a swim cap for swimming laps in a pool
JOSEPH M  No, it's neoprene so water will soak through. It's designed to keep your head warm, not dry.
Whitney M  I am looking for a beanie that has some small holes in the top for air to escape. Does this one have small holes? If not, is there another product you'd recommend?

ANTONIO O  Hi, no I do not think it will be too tight, I have 21" and short hair and I do not fill it tight, it fits well. Have a nice swim.
STEPHEN H  I'm sorry, but I don't know about the sizing on the small. I bought a larger size and was happy with the fit. . It is somewhat stretchy and I wanted a snug fit. I use it in conjunction with a wet suit for waterskiing in colder conditions as much heat is lost from head.

DARRELL B  I wanted one that I could use for diving in water that was not extremely cold and I wanted one that could be used while kayaking in cool weather. I also wanted one that could put on and taken off easily and be worn under a helmet. I have bought several Neo Sport wetsuits in the past and when I decided to buy a beanie cap this one was the only one that I considered. No regrets.
TERENCE G  I typically don't dive in cool/cold water but wanted something to provide warmth for an upcoming trip to Hawaii. I wanted something cheap since I won't be using it often. This looked like a good solution. Note: I haven't used it yet.
DEBORAH J  Yes I did. And I really like it. It does try to slide back but that is more operator error of put my mask on. Once I mastered it, all was good.
MATTHEW L  I got this for my wife, mostly to keep her hair back, plus ad a little warmth since she gets cold easily. The head part fits fine but the velcro on the strap doesn't seem to tighten enough so maybe try one size smaller.
RONALD P  I picked this one because of the way it closed. It loops through a d-ring and then velcros shut. All the others only have velcro. I really like this beanie and have almost a 100 dives with it.
LISA P  After buying several hoods I came across this one. I love it. it is less constricting than a hood and keeps me warm. I haven't wore one of the hoods since I got this beanie again. The coldest I will is 68 degrees though
RENITA M  #1. Help keep me warm. Most heat escapes thru the top of your head. It worked. #2. Keep my hair out of the way. It worked!! #3. I would get a smaller size than I ordered. But it worked OK even tho it was a bit large for my head. I am a female small build.
CAROL T  Selected this one for two reasons. 1) The price was right and 2) it was for my husband, who doesn't require a lot of warmth. We're tropics divers, and although I'm always cold, he requires only minimal protection to stay toasty. It fit pretty true to size and he loves it.
