My old keeper had dry rotted and fallen off, and I had been using the old generic keeper. This was the right part at the right price!

It took many years before the original keeper on Aqualung Impulse 2 snorkel failed. Cannot use most keepers because of bulge near top. This snaps on and should fit any conventional snorkel, not just Aqualung. It's great; I can't imagine how it could be improved; a pleasant contrast with the wimpy snorkel keepers you find on the ground near the dunk tank. Not for foldable snorkels.
If you have an Aqualung Impulse Snorkel or other brand snorkel and need a new snorkel keeper this new two-piece snorkel keeper allows for easy mounting and removal of the snorkel to the mask strap. Yes, designed for Impulse series snorkels, would fit any snorkel of standard diameter. In heavy surf need to wear any snorkel inside mask strap with any keeper. Because conventional keeper will not fit over Impulse dry system, not aware of any reliable alternative, neoprene or otherwise. Holds securely, well designed, easy to release snorkel on the boat without re-rigging keeper. Better than the excellent keeper provided with new Impulse snorkels. I do not see how you could lose your snorkel without losing your mask as well.

I would say yes. but I prefer to use neoprene holders. more comfortable and don't come off by accident. I think these cheesy clips are lost gear waiting to happen.

How do you attached this to a mask strap?

You have to pull the part with the emblem completely off on one side. The two pointed ends. Wrap the rubber band around the snorkel, and then reinsert the plastic peice with the emblem . Hope this helps.
