Perfect Carry-On Dive Bag

By CARLTON A.

 -  Houston, TX, US

I am a carry-on only traveling diver, and I've been looking for the perfect carry-on dive bag for a long time. I don't think it gets any better than this. The bag appears very well made, durable, and has the perfect carry-on dimensions - packed with gear it's 22"Hx15"Wx7"D. In it I have a LiteHawk BC with an Air2 octo, Mikron regulator, computer, HotShot fins, mask, snorkel, 1mil wetsuit, save-a-dive kit & small first aid kit. The whole kit weighs 19 pounds dry. If my BC is not completely dry...

Excellent Dry Bag

By STEVEN W.

 -  GLENSIDE, PA, US

Excellent value.Well built and very comfortable to walk around with.

Adventurous diving is always going to need the right equipment to transport your gear. Designed to carry a wetsuit and other essentials, the Dry Pack is versatile and rugged enough to go with you wherever you're diving takes you. Waterproof welded seams and comfortable, adjustable rucksack style straps make the Dry Pack an instant classic that will be as useful off the dive boat as it is on it. The roll top closure is simple to use, and a small internal pocket ensures that keys and small items do not end up at the bottom of the bag. This 45-liter (2,746 cu. in.) volume 420D PVC bags adjustable shoulder straps are fully padded for the long haul. When you need a more streamline bag that has a lower profile and less chance of snagging the shoulder straps come equipped with upper and lower squeeze-style side-release buckles for easy removal. There is also a top grab handle for easy lifting. The roll top also closes with a side-release buckle for added convenience. Great thing about a dry pack bag is that when transporting dry gear things inside stay dry and when returning from your adventure wet gear packed inside won't leak on you or in your vehicle on the way home.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  What are the dimensions of the fourth element dry bag ?
KEVIN F  30 inch length (before rolling down) 19.5 inch flat width or 39 inch circumference
Shopper  Can a tropical set of gear fit in this bag?
JOHN L  I purchased the bag for the same purpose that you mentioned. I have packed this fourth element dry bag with a BCD, Scubapro jet fins, a dive light, and wetsuit boots. There was also room for a shorty 3mm wetsuit as well. I carry my regulator set in a separate bag that I keep as a personal item when I fly. If you are using longer fins you may have trouble fitting the fins in the bag and being able to roll the top of the bag shut to buckle it, but it really depends on the style. I've had a good experience using the bag so far. Hope that helps answer your question -John
CARLTON P  Yes. It holds my travel BC, travel fins, & tropical kit perfectly.
