I used the gloves this past weekend for the PADI Rescue Diver class, and they were plenty warm for extended periods in 54 degree water in the Puget Sound. The gloves were thin and flexible enough for the endless rounds of removing gear from myself and various volunteer "victims."
Utterly Phenomenal

TLDR: The flexibility and tactile control with these gloves is incredible
I agree with the reviews here. I will wear these gloves whenever I can. IF I _really_ have to, I'll use the 5mm version I have of these (yes they're so good I have both 3mm and 5mm)
They're not that expensive. Their finger dexterity is second to none. There are no seam ridges running along your fingers to get annoying. They have grip. I sidemount dive, so having finger dexterity is critical for managing tanks and ...these are the only gloves I want to use for that situation.
If you want dive gloves. Get these. Accept no others.
The secret to a great dive can be as simple as having warm hands and the dexterity to be able to use your camera or feel your valves for a shutdown. Fourth Elements wet gloves use stretch neoprene with glued, stitched and welded seams to give a close fit that almost eliminates the entry of water, whilst maximizing flexibility and warmth. The carbonite print on the outside of glove provides good grip and improved durability. The glove liners are designed to work underneath dry gloves offering an additional layer of thermal protection. The 3mm gloves give outstanding dexterity ideal for photography and videography. Features include: stretch neoprene for fit and comfort, and a thermo-flex lining for warmth, sealed seams to minimize water ingress, easy donning minimalist design, and a carbonite finish for grip and durability. Gloves are available in multiple sizes.
Fourth Element is not available for sale outside the US and Canada from this on-line store.
This product can only be shipped to U.S. addresses.

Can you use this glove in tropical water too?
ADAM C
These are great gloves and pretty much the only ones I use now, and most of my diving is NE. You can most definitely use them in tropical water though you may find them a bit of overkill. I use gardening gloves whenever I dive tropical but these gloves will work fine.

I cannot think of any reason you could not use these gloves in warm water. I have been using them for over a year, but have only used them in ~50 F water. Best gloves I have used, very durable.

depends on if you are allowed to war gloves or not
