About Cressi 7mm Tahitian Finned Euro Shaft

Having spare spear shafts on hand when out on the Hunt is just good sense. Don't let a damaged spear shaft ruin a day or multi-day hunting trip. Cressi's 7mm (0.28") diameter spear shafts are made from corrosion resistant tempered stainless steel for strength, durability, low maintenance and long life. Spear shaft has a Tahitian style tip with a single flopper barb that hugs the spear shaft for maximum penetration yet provides superior holding power once it penetrates the fish. Cressi INOX Spear Shafts are finned and ready to use on the Comanche Pacific Spear Gun. Shafts are available in multiple lengths and make a great safe-a-dive-kit item.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Andrew M  What's the difference between Geronimo and Geronimo 2 Cressi spearguns? Also what spear or shaft do these come with? Is the 7mm an upgrade or just a spare/replacement? What length spear works with a 75 cm gun? I can't find answers to any of these
Mike T  Hi Andrew, The Geronimo 2 was an updated version of the Geronimo. Other than the graphics on the gun the only other difference was the addition of the shaft guide rail on the barrel of the gun. This provides more stability for the shaft as it leaves the gun greatly increasing the accuracy. The 7mm shaft is a upgrade for the Geronimo 2. To make this shaft work you will need to buy an open muzzle. http://www.leisurepro.com/p-csbim/cressi-muzzle-for-geronimo-pacific-comanche-spear-guns If you buy the elite open muzzle you can make this shaft work.
MICHAEL S  I have the Geronimo 2 and I'm not sure what the difference is, if any. Mine came with a 6 mm shaft that I upgraded to a 6.5 mm shaft from Mako Spearguns, so the 7 mm is an upgrade. My 75 cm gun came with a 120 cm spear and that is the size I got for an upgrade. I also took the pivoting bow off the muzzle which is easy to do and makes the gun an open muzzle with circular bands. Upgrade to a shaft with tabs instead of notches and you will significantly improve the gun. If I am still using this gun next year I plan to convert it to a roller muzzle just for fun, that is if I don't decide to buy a new gun instead.
Caio O  Hi, the size described is the shaft or for the speargun? I have a Cressi Geronimo Elite pro 105 cm... should I buy the 110cm shaft?
Mike T  HI Caiomoita, yes the shaft for the 110cm will work well.
Shopper  is it Triple-Finned ?
YAN G  No, just two fins for two bands.
