I looked at several sites to find a fin strap to replace the one I lost, but I had the greatest confidence in Leisure Pro because of the clear photo they provided. Based on the photo alone, I ordered two replacement straps at a price that was very competitive with other sites. The straps arrived promptly and are exactly the same as the one I lost. Good service and price.

It was exactly what I was looking for!
You are fully suited up and are ready to put your fins on to start your dive and your fin strap breaks! Always have a spare in your save-a-dive kit. Don't let a broken or missing fin strap ruin your day of diving. Keep one or two spare straps in your dive bag or save-a-dive-kit the dive you save may be your own! This Set of 2 straps with buckles are designed for the Scubapro Twin Jet Fins (see SKU: SCPFTM). Straps are made of durable rubber with corrosion and impact resistant buckle assemblies. The strap buckles are squeeze-style" side-release buckles. The straps have large pull end tabs and oversized heel pull loop for easy donning and doffing.
This product can only be shipped to U.S. addresses.

does this strap come as a pair. or is the price for one strap only?
darrick c
Hello Estevan, this would be a pair of straps.

how do you change the pinned part of the buckle that attaches directly to the fin.....the female mount?
Brian C
If you know someone or have in your possession a small table mounted vice you can wrap the pinned section in a cloth or rag, leaving the pinned exposed for access. Then use a small punch even a blunted 6 or 8 penny nail to drive out the pin. It doesn't matter if you tear or gouge the old pinned section as you are replacing it anyway. Reversing the process you should be able to ,lightly. tap in the new pin.

what I did was to pry both sides of the plastic apart that's holding the pin to get it out, you can also do one side only.
Robert K
My solution was similar to the above except I used a large finishing nail. I placed the head of the nail on the pin and hit the pointed end.
MICHAEL K
It can be a bit of a struggle. I used a nail set (but any blunt tipped punch should do) and a hammer to drive the pins out. Once you get them started, it's easy but the rubber grips them hard at first.

Will these replacements fit the older "Original Jet Fins" (NOT TWINS)-with the lightning bolt under the Scuba Pro emblem?
GREGORY L
Lightning Bolt under the logo?...I've got a couple of pairs of the original Jet fins (& have owned at least a couple more)...while I have never experienced the lightning bolts (just checked to make sure I hadn't been missing something) the connector assembly is entirely different than the original. If there was an interim model that I'm not aware of (with an upgraded connector assembly...& maybe a lightning bolt) it would be beyond my "paygrade".
Sorry I couldn't nail it more definitively for you...but, definitely won't fit the "original" original jetfins.

NO This is designed for the Twin Jet fin. Leisurepro should have available from Scubapro the older replacement strap for the orginal Jet Fin.

Are Twinjet and Seawing fin straps the same?
CHARLES D
I believe so -- pretty generic strap

Would these fit the Aqualung rocket fins? I'm assuming they're built identical to the Scupa Pro jet fins?
WILLIAM J
I'm pretty sure that the Scub pro jet fins buckle replacement will not fit the Auqua lung jet fins. If your fins have a round plastic piece that the buckle fit s over, I would suggest this product: http://www.leisurepro.com/p-aqufugk/quick-release-fin-strap-with-buckle. The Scuba Pro buckle is attached with a 2 prong device that snaps into a buckle on the fin. This is not the same as the quick release for the fin strap. Look closely at the picture on the Scuba pro fins. My son has older scuba pro fins that used the same round buckle as the aqua lung blade fins that I have. Hope this helps.
