It's a little big but Veri useful and easy to wear
You prefer to wear your dive knife on your leg but find that unless you're diving a 5mm or thicker wet suit the hard-plastic sheath and straps hurts your leg. XS Scuba's Neoprene Knife Wrap is an alternative way to wear your knife on your leg with added comfort. Even when not wearing an exposure suit or wearing a shorty this neoprene knife wrap adds comfort.
Knife wrap is made from soft, but durable nylon-2 neoprene rubber with a slip-resistant backing for added security. Adjustable hook and loop straps for mounting to your lower leg are more comfortable then straps with hard plastic buckles. XS Scuba's Neoprene Knife Wrap allows you to mount the knife sheath from your knife with a soft padded layer between your leg and the sheath. Knife wrap has a versatile design for use with Fog-Cutter, Recon, Beta Titanium, Saw (see SKU's: XSSK, XSSKR, XSSSKN) and Many other manufacturers' knives. Knife wrap has sewn taped edges for extra strength and durability.

Do the straps adjust enough to fit on a thigh?
KURT W
Im a medium build guy (5'11" / 170 lbs) and it really didn't adjust large enough for my thigh. Hope that helped! And sorry for my delay:)
ANTHONY G
The straps will not go around the thigh, now that being said I am not an average size guy to start. my rig has plenty of adjustment for my leg, one strap above the knee one below. if you are a fit person and a touch skinny and have small thighs, then there is a chance it will. but it would not take much to convert the straps to fit any size thigh with a good seamstress, the velcro straps are easy to add a few more inches to. it is a nice rig and very comfortable to wear, you cant go wrong buying it. hope this helps.
WESLEY K
Probably not a man's thigh no. Woman's thigh maybe? Unless you have smaller legs yourself? I have large leg muscles though and weigh about 180 is why I'd say it wouldn't fit. It's best secured w/ one strap between the ankle and calf muscle and then another strap right below the knee. You could probably sew it into the thigh area of a wet suit as well if you wanted? Or sew more velcro to the existing straps could work as well? Just a thought hope it helps!

So did it work for securing the Wenoka blunt nose? I have a Wenoka Tanto tip and am wondering how well it would secure that knife.
ISRAEL S
Knife wrap works well with my Wenoka blunt nose. I have used the knife wrap on my left calf on numerous dives. I think it looks good, and the knife wrap holds my knife at the ready for me during a dive. I have no complaints.
BOYD C
I had to look up the dive knife and look it over along with several different models. It looks like it should fit but there were several models I looked at that do not look compatable with the XS wrap. I would advise that you closely inspect the sheath and compare it to the XS scuba Titanium blunt tip knife sheath. If it doesn't work send it back. Again it should fit, but I would strongly urge you to look carefully at the Wenoka sheath to make make sure it looks compatable before you order. I hope this helps you. Have a great New Year and dive safe.
TONY C
It works well overall. Definitely more comfortable than the straps it comes with

ItI don't work for my small knife. Its for a full size knife
BRENT P
works fine, a little bulky

What is the distance between the straps used to secure the knife sheath?Wondering if Wenoka Squeeze blunt nose would fit.
JASON F
It should fit no problem. I would put the case in with the strap holder part out just for a little more secure fit though.
JEROLD W
Its set up for a long blade knife .My 3 inch is to short and dosn't fit
BRENT P
There is only one strap that loops into the knife sheath. It is at the top and at the lower portion you have the neoprene pocket that secures the bottom of the sheath. I am not familiar with your application, but the measurements I can help with.
top of the strap to the top of the neoprene pocket 4" and to the bottom 7". The pocket has an open bottom, so the sheath can extend below it like mine does. I believe this item is best suited to a large 5" blade knife. Some smaller knives may not be secured as well.
KEVIN B
The strap that secures the knife sheth, which is at the top, is 5 inches long.
DAVID J
The top strap is 3/4" wide sliding through a 1" center belt loop so you have some slop here. This brings up a point that to save money the mfg only put one belt loop in the center which is exactly where you would like to loop the strap through the knife sheath so it causes the knife sheath to kick either forward or backward to the centerline of your leg when looping through the knife sheath and the belt loop. With the top strap centered in the belt loop the c/l of the top strap is 3-5/8" to the top of the neoprene knife pocket. The pocket will stretch to accommodate any knife sheath.

Why Did You Choose This?
BENJAMIN W
I wanted to wear a dive knife where I could reach it easier than on the attachment rivets of my BCD. Too difficult to reach, push the release button, and store the knife again with the sheath in a blindspot on the BCD, while wearing 5-7mm gloves and 7mm wetsuit. Hoping this solves those problems.

Purchased a New knife
JAY Y
Allows me to comfortably carry a knife on my thigh without the wetsuit.
JOE T
I don’t like the stock straps that come with the dive knives
Greg K
The knife I bought from a local shop did not come with a leg strap.
