Love it

Stretch it with a small ironing board or something else to simulate your thigh when gluing it on. Use dive weights to press down.

Went on easy, I did look and read some of the tips before I glued it, for sure need to buy 2oz more of glue. Proof will be in the diving but come out nice

Need more room to stow stuff when you're diving? XS Scuba's Glue-On Thigh Pocket can give you that storage space you're looking for. Plenty of room for a spare mask, finger spools, back-up light etc. Pocket is ready to glue to your dry or wet suit and even comes with a 1/4 oz. (7 g) tube of Aqua-Seal with application brush, so you can attach it to your exposure suit out of the box!

This deep bellows pocket has a hook and loop closure an interior mesh divider for organization and nickel-plated brass drainage grommets on the sides and bottom. Pocket is made from durable nylon material with sewn edge tape for added strength. The back panel is made from neoprene rubber for easy gluing to suit and helps form a permanent bond. XS Scuba's Glue-On Thigh Pocket measures 10" x 6" x 2.5" (25.4cm x 15.2cm x 6.4cm) and will give you that extra storage you need.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

DAVE B  Can I mount this on a semi dry without any adverse effects?
RONALD C  I glued the pocket to a 7mm wetsuit and it works great.
ANDREW R  yes
DWIGHT T  Yes you can. Coat pocket and designated pocket location with neoprene cement and apply together once glue is tacky.
Shopper  Anyone has experience with attaching the pocket to trilaminate dry suit?
DALIA L  All replies noted, thanks.
ERIC H  Yes, should be no problem, get some Aqua seal and follow the directions on package. I usually apply the aqua seal to the pocket first and let it set up for a few minutes and then apply pocket to suit. I then place some weight on top overnight. Make sure to get glue on the edges but not over the edge as the weight will cause it to expand just a bit.
DIRK B  AquaSeal directly to your trilam or wet suit. Use a generous amount, especially around all edges. Allow to dry 16-24 hrs. It'll last for yrs.
JUAN A  I'd avoid it for two reasons: 1) Most non-professionals use Aquaseal to do the job, and it doesn't usually last very long. The proper way to attach a pocket is by sewing it on, then "sealing" the holes with Aquaseal. 2) Highland XS Scuba gear that relies on this woven nylon fabric has an infamous reputation for not lasting very long. So even if you did get the pocket sewn on, I can almost guarantee that this pocket will begin to fray and unravel within 25 dives. If you do get a pocket sewn on, buy a different brand. If you don't believe me or are curious about the durability, buy another XS scuba woven nylon product such as tank weight pockets and take them for a few dives. You'll quickly see what I mean.
STEPHEN G  What material s the pocket made of? ballistic nylon? what denier?
MICHAEL G  I don't know the count but it is made of a low count denier fabric. Maybe 300 or 500. The back is a sewn on piece of neoprene.
RICHARD H  Yes, it's ballistic nylon, (very heavy duty, but flexible), except for the back (the side you will glue to your wetsuit or drysuit), which is a heavy neoprene.
Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
RICHARD K  I carry things in cargo pockets vs. hanging off BCD. Works better for me and I can carry more, such as wet notes, other slates, etc. in addition to reels, SMB, etc.
JASON B  Price and construction, good deal overall.
GREGORY L  I re-bought another one of these for my dive buddys suit that I got him for Christmas..Way easier than BDC Pockets
STEPHEN K  Used before, excellent pocket
