Good, high visibility Signal Tube

By Adrian

When you do a late afternoon dive with heavy currents, and you drift away from the dive boat. Its nice to have a big signal to get their attention.

Save your own ass

By mario s.

Me and my dive buddy got separated from two other divers on a dive trip on a new location. Upon surfacing, the weather changed drastically. Waves were really strong and our boat couldn't be located. We weren't able to swim ashore because it was a huge wall of rocks (we would have been slammed into it). I had no whistle, no signal device (the horn that connects to the inflator) and no marker. Vomited probably 4 to 5 times... I was desperate. After 15 to 30 mins (felt like a lifetime), the...

Dive Signal Tubes are now a requirement for all divers.
If you don't dive with a Signal Tube Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) you need to start now, it makes sense to be safe! The dive signal tube is made of durable Cordura material and comes in yellow or orange color for easy identification at the surface. The attachable gate snap clip makes carrying the bag simple and handy. Signal Tube independently inflates with a screw down locking oral inflation mouthpiece to 45" (114 3cm) tall making it easy to see from a distance.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  I was informed that one requires a different signial tubes for wreck dive conditions?
darrick c  Hello, you would need to talk with your Wreck Diving Instructor on what gear you would need for the class.
Shopper  Do you have red color?
William P  we only have this in orange or yellow
Michele R  Does it include a line?
JEREMY O  No. Different dive depths require different lengths purchased separately.
PATRICIA S  No, you will need at least a spoil reel for it.
KARL M  No, it didn't.
DAVID B  No
KATHERINE S  No, it does not include a line.
Char C C  whats the width?
ROGER B  It's been awhile since using it; but inflated it's almost 4" in diameter
BRIAN W  Approximately 3.5 - 4"
CHRIS J  Rolled up maybe 6 inch wide...inflated 3-4 inch dia.
LANCE C  After a dive trip the inside is a bit wet, not much, but needs to be dried out. The valve is spring loaded to the "shut" position, there is no way to prop the valve open to let the inside dry out, nor is there a way (that I can tell) to remove the valve to allow inside to dry. What's the trick to drying the inside after a dive trip?
RICK J  The trick is to realize that it has failed. I think that it should be replaced at no charge to you-a potentially life saving device ( I was in the middle of the Indian Ocean when all the divers got strung out for miles due to very strong currents. Everyone had a safety sausage in the air which helped the boat to find all of us) that was likely faulty to begin with.
MAURICE C  Inflate it and leave it for a few days. Otherwise don't worry about it.
