Easy to configure and use. I use a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.10.5 and it all worked fine following the installation instructions.

Very nice!

It's a very useful tool and makes downloading dives very easy.

The Cressi's Leonardo PC Download Interface Kit will easily download your logged dives to your personal computer. It gives diver the ability to see all aspects of dive profile using colored graphs, and it can help improve diving ability by allowing you to observe critical dive profile information. Share your underwater experiences with others. Download depths and decompression status, maximum depth, bottom time, descent/ascent rates, ambient temperatures, surface intervals, and all warning points entered during the dive. This product is a must for the serious diver.

Easy to use Interface works with both wrist and console units. USB connects the interface to your PC and Leonardo simply sits on top of the interface and the information is uploaded to your PC.Interactive connection is initiated when the light on the PC interface turns green. Kit includes USB Cable, Cradle and Disc.Compatible with:Windows(XP, Vista, Win7, Win8, Win10);Mac(from OS 10.8 to OS 10.11 and MacOS 10.12 Sierra - 10.13 High Sierra - 10.14 Mojave - MacOS 10.15 Catalina).

Shopper  Is the latest software update working well in Windows 10?
ALEJANDRO T  Not sure on the new version , i still have old version on my windows. Sorry
LEWIS R  Sorry I have only used with IOS
Amadeo G  Yes, that work with Windows 10
Anna P M  Hello, I bought the Leonardo computer and the interface lead to download my dives to my laptop but every time I try to download, it never changes from inactive to active. The steps I follow are: 1) Open the Cressi interface and connect the interface lead through the USB port 2) Set my leonardo to PC Link When I get there, it doesn't do anything else and the leonardo turns off. All I can do it set the folder I want, but still it does nothing What do I do?
Mario C  Hi Anna, thank you for your question, i will forward instructions to you in a private message. Thank you Dimitri
DMITRI M  What is on your laptop? The interface works on windows 7 and 8, it may or may not work on windows 10. I have no idea about mac osx. Basically you need to install the drivers (on included cd or download from cressi), and configure your dive log software to use serial port that will be created by the installation. Then you select "download logs" in the software, set leo to "pc link" and put it in the cradle.
Anna P M  Thank you Dimitri, I use mac and supposedly it is compatible. How do i configure my dive log software to use serial port, I think thats what I'm missing. Thanks again!
DMITRI M  it's a 2-step operation: when you installed the drivers, that should have created a new serial port. I guess on the mac it should be something like /dev/ttyUSB-something-or-other.Then in divelog software there's the "device" or "port" or some such. I use subsurface, the setting is in section 5.2 of its user manual (you'll have to google for it as LP won't let me post the link)
Akiva G  What is this besides a normal usb cord? Can't I just buy a much cheaper cord and download the software from the website?
THOMAS R  The dive computer attaches the to square plastic platform. The computer sends an IR beam which is converted an digital code and sent via USB cable.to your home computer. The USB connection at the dive end is not standard. It like buying a USB cable for a Canon or HP printer they use different USB cables and connections at the printer
DAVID S  The computer sits face down on the stand. There is no where to plug in a USB cable.
OFER E  It's USB connected to a docking plate for the dive computer. The dive computer rests on the plate and connects via IR
MARIA S  It not just the cord but the base which makes contact with the dive computer prongs so you can download your logs. A USB cable does not connect directly to your dive computer. This is. It unique to this computer due to the waterproof nature of the computer. I have yet to find a cable for PC/Mac compatible computer that is not expensive. All the designs are unique.
JONATHAN V N  The kit includes an IR receiver that interfaces with your Cressi computer. When you dock your computer in the cradle, the computer's IR transmitter lines up with the receiver in the docking cradle. The USB cord itself is pretty standard.
RICARDO H  Leonardo as well Giotto diving computers dont have a connection port. This device uses a specific wireless technology to connect to the diving computer and a USB connection from the device to the PC.
MITCHELL G  That is a transfer dock. The watch wirelessly transfers its data to the computer through that dock. The watch is totally sealed no input for a cable. If you want to download your data from your watch to the computer then you have to have that cable and dock.
STEVEN P  the cord is a USB cable but you need the cradle mount part that the Leonardo sits on to transfer the data. the Leonardo does not have a USB port.
BRENT S  The watch sits in that plastic piece and sends the info wirelessly. A cheap sub cord won't work.
MICHAEL P  There is a special unit that is needed to read the information. You need the entire unit.
FAIRMONT M  No, the base is a special interface (uses infrared) to communicate with the device.
Akiva G  Oh got it. So it really is totally essential for uploading the dives on to a computer?
FAIRMONT M  Yes!
Akiva G  Thanks for your help!
MAURICE L  I can't figure out how to create a folder to store data. Any step by step advice out there on how this thing works?
DAVID L  Hi, The file directory is created automatically when you install the Cressi software. The data location is; C:\Program Files (x86)\Cressi PC Interface\database You then have to have the USB reader plugged in, the software set to download data and your Cressi in the PC interface mode.
MICHAEL P  After you plug in your computer, there should be an icon that says DOWNLOAD DIVES. If you click that, it will download all of the information to your computer. There will be a file on your computer. My file is located under Program Files - Cressi PC Interface - Database You can export your files as a text but it seems useless to me but you can print each individual dive graph and put it in a 3 ring binder. Hope I helped a little
Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
HAROLD K  Needed to use the Logbook function to download and record dives easierl
RICHARD W  My wife and I have Leonardo computers and are very happy with them. we are just not very diligent about logging our dives This will let us download the dives directly into our logs, removing all excuses!
MARY S  To accompany my dive computer.
PAUL P  Goes with my dive computer
David W  Because I have a Cressi computer and would like to get access to its full functions which can only be done with the interface.
Scott T  price is the best on the interweb.
EARL T  i have a giotto dive computer
TALUT L  price finally went down. still expensive for something that should come with cressi equipment. not liesure fault though. cressi money hungry assz
