This is a complete kit with likely more than you will need to change the battery on your Suunto. The battery ring and keeper are reusable if undamaged and clean. (Don't use a sharp tool you idiot). If you do nick them or are unsure, it's good to have the spares. Watch any of the many videos on how to change the battery and work in clean conditions. It's easy. My family all have old Vipers and I have changed out the battery on all of them. No issues.
If you are unsure a dive shop will change... the battery, including a pressure test for leaks.
You just set up your equipment for the first dive of your vacation in Saint Somewhere, as you press the activation button on your dive computer it goes through the diagnostic screen and what do you see the "Low Batt" Icon appears. The worst thing that can happen on a tropical vacation has just happen No Dive Computer. Yes. I’ve done that myself in fact. I have the Zoop and the Gekko (best computers on the market in my opinion) and this kit works for both. There are a few good YouTube videos on how to do it.
