Sight is a beautiful thing

By DANIEL Z.

I have the plastic standoff cover. It's well scratched and you can't read the computer avove the water. So, I got this cover and it works great. Stayed on without an isse. Readable alvove the water. Don't know yet how it iwll stand up to the inevitable scratches....but it'd not that expensive and it does protect the computer screen.

Gallieo Sol Screen Protector

By DAVE W.

I prefer this "stick-on" screen protector over the normal clip on screen protector I usually use on my computer. The stick-on screen protector is very easy to read the screen.

Tired of having to submerge your computer in water so you can see through the gauge protector? Once your screen guard gets scuffed and scratched enough you can hardy read it on the surface between dives, it still protects the computers crystal, but if you can't read the computer between dives it time to replace it. The adhesive plastic screen guard is designed to protect the Uwatec Galileo Sol, and Luna Computers from scratches, abrasions and harmful UV rays. Its protective lens and is installed easily over the computer. Adhesive plastic screen guard makes a great save-a-dive-kit item.

This product can only be shipped to U.S. addresses.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  how do I apply how do I apply Scubapro Adhesive Screen Guard for Galileo Sol?
DAVID B  Peel off the back. It sticks like clear tape. Just way better.
DAVE W  Remove the thin film covering adhesive backing and press on Galileo Sol Starting at one edge and press down genry on screen with a credit card (use Edge like spreading jelly on bread)
ANDREW D  Remove the old screen guard if in place, this can be helped by gently warming with a hair dryer Clean the screen with an alcohol wipe and allow to air dry Gentle apply the new guard starting with one side ensuring you as you smooth it into place that you remove any bubbles
MARK C  They are self adhesive. Clean the screen, peel and stick.
Shopper  This is to be installed on the plastic cover screen shield or on the actual screen itself of the Galileo dive computer?
DAVID L  I put the adhesive screen guard on the plastic cover screen shield. The Screen shield gets scratched very easily and I wanted the extra protection. You may have to trim the adhesive screen guard to fit the screen shield. I did this a few years ago for my Sol and my wife's Luna computers and so far we have been very satisfied.
JUAN R  Hi Originally is for the Galileo screen, but the plastic one will get all the scratches, I bought 2 one for the computer and the other for the plastic cover, this way both are protected
JOHN S  Scubapro told me to install it on the actual screen. That was after I installed it on the plastic cover over the screen. But, the protective screen cover can be replaced. And, it is always on the computer unless it gets lost or you remove it. Then I would want it over the screen. I like to protect the screen cover if I have it on.
RICHARD K  Yes this attaches to the screen itself. I removed the plastic protector that came with the computer and it works well for me.
MARK R  Put it on the plastic cover screen shield, so both of them are protecting the actual computer. That's what I do, at any rate, and it works well. Reading the screen above the surface of the water becomes difficult after the adhesive screen guard gets scratched up, but underwater the display is easy to read. My first adhesive screen guard stayed on my computer for about 80 dives, then died in battle. (I put a huge gouge in it that I think would have ruined my computer were it unprotected. I peeled it off, which was surprisingly easy given how securely attached it was, and replaced it. That was probably about 150 dives ago and the new one is still fine.
ANIL O  Adhesive shield can be placed on plastic actual screen part.
MIKHAIL B  Will this fit the Uwatec Alladin Pro ?
YAN G  The display size is a little different, you may have to trim some of the protector to make it fit.
Shopper  Why Did You Choose This?
DONALD F  replacing older screen guard.
David W  Great price compared to competitors, Amazon was double the price.
Hilario M  I have an Aladin computer and want to keep it visible
ALBERTO B  to protect my new screen
