Excellent BC. I have used it from Drysuit diving loaded with weight to tropical diving. It is a heavy BC if worried about baggage weight. I will say though that once you dive this BC you will pay to have it travel with you. I dove an Oceanic Excursion II and it was a nice BC no complaints but it was what it was a midrange BC. This BC is a fine tuned sports car. After seeing the differences in quality and options this BC had to our Oceanic my wife upgraded from the HERA to Ranger LTD as well. ...

The Zeagle Ranger LTD shoulder is designed with the new super duty Airlock buckle that will swivel to adjust the harness to the body's contour to eliminate binding and restriction of movement at the chest and underarm areas. With the addition of harness type webbing and a new threading arrangement the diver can easily add more D-rings and other accessories conveniently on the shoulder. This feature will now allow the technical and accessory minded diver to further set-up his BC to what he needs for the type of diving he is doing. Zeagle has also added a right-hand shoulder dump with a pull knob located conveniently on the inside edge of the right shoulder pad. The dump valve acts also as an additional safety overpressure valve.

The Zeagle Ranger LTD is equipped with Personal Fit System (PFS) Modular Sizing. The PFS allows for a custom fit and lets you change out specific sections of the BC. The Zeagle Ranger LTD also has adjustable elastic waist panels and a lumbar pad that is permanently mounted in the rear of the vest section. The BC is made from heavily reinforced 1050-denier ballistic nylon, has 2-zippered utility pockets, 4 stainless steel D-rings on the shoulders (two adjustable), 2 stainless steel D-rings on vest so there's plenty of storage space and accessory attachment points for all your gear.

This back-inflation BC provides 44 lbs. (20 kg) of lift and comes equipped with Zeagle's Ripcord Weight System. The Ripcord System has a block of soft weight capacity of 30 lbs. (13.6 kg) of releasable weight and an additional capacity of 20 lbs. (9 kg) rear trim weight that is non-releasable. Adjusting the BC for a perfect fit the Ranger LTD has torso adjustable shoulders straps an adjustable sternum and waist straps all equipped with squeeze-style" side-release buckles for easy donning and doffing.

The Ranger LTD can accommodate single or twin tanks with 11" (27.8cm) spaced grommets for the twin cylinder mounting. Buoyancy control and trim is easy with the 2-lower rear, right shoulder overpressure relief/pull dump valves and Bx Power Inflator Mechanism. The Bx Power Inflator makes preventative maintenance easy with its threaded lower mechanism that allows the attachment of a garden hose for fast and easy inner bladder rinsing. The Bx is also connected to a pull dump valve for rapid deflation. The BCD dry weight is 9.5 lbs. (4.3 kg) it is available in multiple sizes and comes with a low pressure quick disconnect hose with 3/8" threads. BCD is made in the USA.

Shopper Hi I am 6'3" 255 i have a 38 inch waist and a 52 inch chest do you think I would fit into the XL or should I go with the XXL I want to make sure before I order it ?

David K To be honest, I'm 6'3, 235 with a 36" waist and I wear a L. Pretty sure both the top and waist are L...and it has room to spare and is fine with or without any wetsuits. XXL will very likely be waaaay too big, and XL may even be too much.

Norman D M Zeagles sizing chart is true to size, just follow it, if not you can always modify bec the harness itself is changeable

SHANNON G Fitting recommendation. I'm 6'0", 160 lbs, chest 40", waist 32", 20" shoulder to waist. I dive temperate waters with 5mm wetsuit. Considering adding a 7mm to my gear. Medium or large? The main concern is the length adjustment of the chest straps.

Greg M I would think that Med would be a great fit for you - I am 6'2" 225 and wear the large unit - I like this BC but , I do have issue with it ---------its heavy and adds weight in your suitcase .

KEVIN F I'm 6'0" with a 44 inch chest. I have a Large, and without any wetsuit and the chest strap as snug as it will adjust is just about right for a bare chest. With the wetsuits you describe I don't know. When I wear a wetsuit is a 3 mil. With the chest strap as snug as it will fit, there is about 6 inches of strap that I could expand if needed. With the 3 mil wetsuit and the chest strap as snug as it will go, it is tight. Remember that there is also a more permanent adjustment you can make to the fit by pulling the thing apart and moving the screws that hold the straps to the back plate and adjusting them in or out. Mine are in the middle of three settings, one bigger and one smaller. You sound like a Medium, but don't underestimate your ability to get bigger as you age. I was a 32 inch waist at 25 yrs old, but that was 40 years ago. I believe this to be the best BC for the money you can find.

SHANNON G Medium was the right choice. I tried a Large at an LDS and it was definitely too loose. I knew the Medium would be best for my waist/chest circumference. My main concern for a Medium was the adjustment height of the chest straps, and that wasn't a concern. I ordered the Medium and just tried it on. Perfect! There is plenty of length for me and even several more inches for a taller person.

David K I'm 6'3, 220lbs with a 36-38" waist and only wear a Large. I've still got plenty of room for adjustment so if you're bigger than me, XL should be fine. You can always email Zeagle for their recommendation on sizing.

MICHAEL K Looking at this as my 1st BCD. Does this come with the integrated weights or at least the pouches included? If not, which particular weight pouch should be ordered with it?

JOHN H There are weight pouches for the front products to hold the weights. These are bright yellow with a red zipper. The back pockets do not include pouches but these are not needed as there is no emergency release for the back pockets. This is an excellent BCD and I have been very happy with it..

TERESITA A It comes with the pouches for the weights not the weights.

KEVIN F You can put weights in two separate pouches that come with the BC and stow in pockets on the left and right side in the vicinity of the red handle you see in the pictures. There is also two smaller pockets for weights in the lumbar area of your back to put some additional weights in your back side to help balance you out. I've been diving for 18 years and I can't imagine finding a better BC. Lots of storage. I carry a "spare air" in a pouch made by Zeagle that zips onto the side of the BC under my right or left arm. Completely out of the way yet easy to get. The red handle will immediately dumb all your weights if you pull on it should you get yourself in trouble getting pushed down. Lots of adjustments to help fit your body both with and w/out wet suit. If you can afford - buy it. You won't be disappointed.

RYAN C Great choice! It's a lot of BCD but a great choice! It comes with the pouches included. No weights though! The weight pouch system is one of my favorite features. The four pockets make it easy to get your distribution right. Happy diving!
