I picked this pocket over the larger one as I don't always need a pocket on my dives and don't always know when I will need one. The best thing about this is that you can roll it up and out of the way until you need it, barely even noticing it's there.

For anyone that has used both the ninja pocket and thigh pocket, which do you prefer and why?

I have both and the thigh pocket Is roomier and easier to access than the ninja pocket.

I have the thigh pocket and use it for all the extra gear I do not want to put in my BC. I even attached my knife to the front of the pocket for easy access.

Ninja is out of the way, good to have in case is needed to store something that was not planned,, the Thigh pocket is much better if you know you will need it, or already drop in with it in use.

I have both. The ninja pocket is difficult to use. It’s great to have for things you want to carry but may only use in an emergency. But it’s difficult to put thing back into the pocket. I hardly use it. The cargo thigh is easier but it pulls on the bcd because it’s tethered to the thigh. I use it only when in need specialty gear for a particular type of dive.

I just got the Hydros Pro BCD and it is so streamlined that it does not have pockets, and I need pockets! ScubaPro is the best on so many levels. This will keep me streamlined and provide the storage space I need.
