The chrome plated marine brass 1'st stage regulator is a balanced diaphragm design which is inherently environmentally sealed. The diaphragm membrane transmits the pressure changes to the internal mechanism eliminating the need for surrounding water to enter the intricate mechanism. The Prestige15X uses A.C.T. Advanced Coating Technology. This patented technology created to optimize performance, safety & reliability. The valve is covered w/hard Polyurethane (PU) & sealing surface is a layered w/soft PU for a perfect seal. Tri-material (brass, soft PU & heavy-duty PU) reaches new levels of durability. The valve is 600% more durable than its predecessor.

Another unique feature of the 1'st stage is the dynamic flow control (DFC). The DFC system minimizes the intermediate pressure drop during inhalation. The mouthpiece is made of soft hypoallergenic silicone: limiting jaw fatigue. Pressure gauge has 0 to 5,000 psi readout w/safety reserve 1000 psi color coded in red to allow the diver to know they are low on air. The 2000 psi to full scale is color coded in blue. The pressure gauges 7/16" UNF neoprene jacket double braided HP hose has a 360-degree swivel & is 36" (90cm) long. Gauge is nitrox ready to 40% oxygen out of the box.

This very accurate oil filled depth gauge reads depth from 0' to 230' & comes equipped w/a maximum depth indicator needle (MDIN). The MDIN is pushed by the gauge depth needle until the diver meets their maximum depth. The MDIN will remain at the maximum depth reached for the duration of the dive to indicate the diver's deepest depth reached during the dive. Depth Gauge is color coded for easy and safe reading at a glance. Depth Gauge has a 0' to 230' readout with a safety red color-coded section from 0' to 30'. The compact console weighs 22.8 oz (650g).

The compass is oil filled for a quick & responsive movement. Dual magnets give faster response & w/maximum working tilt angle of 20-degrees ensures accurate compass headings. A ratchet bezel with compass headings in 10-degree increments & 30-degree indicator marks. Bezel has twin heading indicators for alignment of compass course & double lined lubber line across compass face. A side window w/compass degree allows gun-sight accurate use when precise headings are required. Compass card is luminescent for low light conditions. The impact-resistant boot has eyelets for attachment of clips or lanyards to keep the gauge close at hand & from dragging over the environment.

This new level of comfort is achieved via special shoulder pads which are longer, pre-shaped and reinforced, and which work in perfect unison with the lumbar suspension system. This suspension system is inspired by the design of modern hiking backpacks; the system avoids direct contact between the body and the tank support. Bolt SLS BCD features 7 stainless steel D-rings for complete accessory attachment. Made of very tough 420 Cordura material, it will endure any exposure you submit it to and hold up to the test of time.

Air-cell is separated from the harness, resulting in unrestricted freedom of movement. The bladder is equipped with bungee cords that will aid in a low profile when it is inflated and facilitates rapid deflation when dumping air. BCD comes standard with 3 pull-dump/overpressure relief valves, one is incorporated into the top of the Ergo Inflator; another is located on the right shoulder and a third is located on the rear lower right. Activation of the valves are made easy with both the upper and lower right valves coming with pull cords and the valve incorporated into the Ergo Inflator is activated by an internal cable attached to the inflator mechanism. SLS releasable weight pockets will work with block or soft pouch weights. The Pure also has rear non-releasable trim weight pockets 5 lbs (2.2kg) capacity each pocket.
