Smouth and clean

I love shaving my ball sack with this knife.

Top of the line knife; amazing holster

By MR S.

Great knife from Atomic. This thing oozes quality. It's made from Titanium so it won't rust. The holster is amazing; it slips in so easily but locks with a secure 'snap'. Removal is easy as well - slightly depressing the two buttons right by the handle let you slide it out. The button locations put your hand right by the handle for immediate and safe grabbing of the knife. Easy to get out when you need it but hard to accidently remove. Straps are standard rubber straps but have a nice plast...

A dive knife is a tool a diver needs on every dive. Most knives are made of stainless-steel. A stainless-steel knife, if not cleaned and dried properly, will begin to rust. Titanium has a greater resistance to corrosion and is more forgiving then stainless-steel. Titanium is lighter weight then steel so it makes a more desirable tool then stainless-steel does. Light weight and corrosion free! This knife is durable, has an ergonomic handle grip, and is low profiled. This knife is beautifully crafted and has a honed full tang blade. The renowned Atomic design aesthetic is apparent in the molded plastic handle with finger grooves for a secure grip. A lanyard hole helps cold water divers with limited dexterity due to thick mitts to keep the knife within reach.

Cleaning is made super easy with the removable handle. The knife has a 4" (10.2cm) curved blade which is ideal for cutting fishing line or kelp. The Ti6 with its positive locking sheath and push button release is easy-to-handle and remove from its sheath with only two fingers. Knife blade has both a serrated and a straight edge and is complete with a line cutter. The knife sheath like the knife is lightweight in design, made from durable molded plastic and comes with leg straps that are equipped with quick adjust buckles. The Atomic Aquatics Ti6 Titanium Knife is available in either a blunt or drop point tip model.

Questions & Answers

Questions about this item:

Shopper  Can you use 2" belt webbing thru sheath (i.e. put on waist strap)?
JOE S  Unfortunately this sheath is designed for 1" straps on the top and bottom for mounting on the leg
Shopper  pointed or blunt?
Ryan C  I always go blunt for dive knives. Remember you'll be using your dive knife as an underwater tool, not a shark assassination device.
LINDA P  Pointed
DUANE C  The knife I purchased has a sharp pointed blade.
EDD D  Pointed! Great knife worth every dollar.
DAVID W  When I purchased you had the option of either. I went with blunt as it is a tool not a weapon and it serves as a flat head screwdriver if needed.
EDD D  I prefer pointer. Worrying about puncturing equipment has never been a problem. The pointed is nice to be able to use to get thing open or started! Great knife worth every dollar. Edd
MICHAEL K  It's a matter of personal preference really. I go with blunt because you can use it as a pry tool or screwdriver in an emergency situation... To add you also can't easily stab yourself (or your equipment) with a blunt tip compared to pointed. If you are caught up in fishing line or kelp, you dont want to puncture your line or BCD right?! Some people might perfer the pointed end for use in piercing something in an emergency, but in all honesty this probably wouldnt help you anyway, and if the knife is sharp enough it should slice better than stab anyhow.
Shopper  does the blade extend thru the handle?
Sherwood P  I believe that it does, on the end of the handle there is a HEX type screw that you can remove which allows you to remove the blade completely from the handle. I will say this, I have had this knife with me on every dive, from Doria, U-869, to the shallow stuff since I bought it back in 2007 and it has never once corroded or let me down in anyway! It is a very well built, sturdy knife that should last you many years. Hope this helps.
STEVE B  Extend through the handle? I take it that you mean the top of the knife, and the answer to that would be - no.
WILLIAM T  Yes it does. Great knife
MICHAEL K  Yes blade is bolted on from the tail of the handle. I have had this knife for 2 years now 60 + - dives nice knife stayed sharp no corrosion.
Shopper  Is this a two knife package?
LeisurePro S  No, this price is for a single knife--the picture is just showing the two tip options.
Shopper  Can this attach to BCD grommets?
LeisurePro S  Sorry, this sheath is for use with holster straps only.
