this has to be the best mask i ever owned. took it down 116ft with 70 ft. vis and it felt like i had nothing on my face at all. saw everything one could possibily see. this IS truly a GREAT mask.

I love this mask! I already have 2. They are a little expensive, but worth much more! You have have to clean it a couple of extra times before wearing for the first time. I own multiple other masks, but I will never use any other again. Atomic is A++++ on their products as always!
When you learned how to dive your instructor told you the most important part of choosing equipment was comfort and fit. When looking for a mask you also need a great field of vision well this mask was designed to meet those and more desirable qualities. The Sub-Frame Two-Windowed Mask is a low volume mask which offers you a wide field of vision and because of its frame design is one of the most durable masks found on the market today. Once you know your prescription, you can order it with the lenses in the mask. It is a tricky installation and Atomic does it at the factory.

I assuming you have an Rx from a doctor. So you need to consult with the doctor so he can tell you what to order + or - and the number. Great mask..best I have ever owned but make sure you scrub the lenses really well before using it. Otherwise they will fog up terribly.

Great reviews on diving. I do lot's of snorkeling when on vacation. Not afraid of paying extra price if makes better snorkeling experience, but is this over kill as far as a snorkeling mask?

I think I paid about $115 for that mask and only used it a couple times. It was a great mask but I had issues with the way it fit my face and leaked, so I gave it to my grandson who loved it. I did buy the $250 Atomic mask and it was absolutely great! NO leaks with it and excellent vision and color. I'd recommend it to anyone who does a lot of diving or snorkeling. It's probably a lot of overkill for someone not diving frequently. However the visual qualities are much better than anything else I've used. /RWF

It is very high volume so difficult to equalize when doing surface dives. If you are just on the surface looking at fish it will be great. Very clear distortion free glass.

It would only be a problem if you were driving down. As you get deeper and the pressure increases the volume of air inside decreases. You then have to re-pressurize by blowing air into the mask. A very high volume of air is difficult to do when you're holding your breath.Enter a reply to Maui snorkeler.

Not familiar with the atomic but I bought the Hollis M3 and love it. It's seals and clear well and even seals when I have my beard grown. Very soft and I really like the look of it. Since getting it, I've been diving about 20 times as deep as 110 and it has performed well all year. Wish they made a GoPro mount for it.
