I followed the instructions to a a tee. I even let them dry for 3 days before use. And when I used defog it loosened the just enough to slide around on my mask. The didn't come loose but they did slide around making using them a trick.
Great for reading gauges

Love it!! Allowed me to read my gushes while scuba diving.
Trident Stick-on Optical Lenses provide snorkelers and divers a simple and affordable way to increase the magnification in diving masks. No longer is a complete prescription mask necessary to read your fish ID card, watch, or camera settings. These glass stick-on lenses with optical quality are replaceable and reusable if you switch masks, but they won't unintentionally wash off if your mask gets wet. There are two semi-circular lenses in each package, and any snorkeling or diving mask with flat lenses can be equipped with these lenses.

Can I trim the bottom edge or does it compromise the adhesion?
darrick c
Hello Glyn, yes you can trim these if you like.

how do I keep them from washing out when I wash and dip my mask to keep it from fogging. I have lost two dive optxs this way and they move around to the wrong position also when I try to hold them in?
darrick c
Hello Pamela, you would need to take them out prep your mask then install them when you are ready to go into the water.

I have a 2.25 prescription. But it's not on the list. Should I go with 2.00 or 2.50, then?
darrick c
Hello Sophie, you would round down to the +2.0.

I would go with the stronger diopter. With a stronger than needed lens you may have to hold the item you are looking at closer to your face to bring it into focus. If the correction is too weak you will have to move the item further away to bing it into focus. It’s much easier to bring your dive computer closer than trying to hold it further away. If you’re looking for additional information on the science an internet search for “how reading glasses work” should pull up what you’re looking for.

I would go up, just less eye strain. And my eyes are getting worse with age so I would need it next year anyway.
