Great dive float. I have used them for a year with out an issue.

Being a safe diver is important as more and more people are taking to the water every year, and there is increased watercraft traffic in our favorite dive sites. Make sure to fly a flag when diving to alert watercraft operators that there are divers below! This Vinyl Dive Flag with Pole, Stiffener and Float is what you need. Flag measures 14 x 16" (35.6 x 40cm) and comes equipped with grommets for easy installation on the pole and the stiffener allows it to always fly for positive identification that divers-are-below. Float has a lead weighted bottom to avoid inverting while in use. The lead weight is equipped with an eyelet at the base for line attachment and rubber stoppers on the pole to eliminate flag slippage. Float is made of Styrofoam for extreme positive buoyancy, yet lightweight for ease of transport. Pole measures 4' (1.2m). Flag is a traditional red & white diver-down flag.

DENNIS M is pole one piece?

Bradley W The fiberglass pole is 1 piece with the lead weight attached to bottom. You have to assemble the styrofoam ball and flag to pole.

LINDA M The flag is 14 by 16 Inches...and no there is no line included you will need to buy a reel with line. But other than that no complaints, it's a great product built well.

MICHELLE A I'm not sure of the size of the flag I'm guessing it's supposed to be 14x16 but it seemed smaller than that to me. Mine did not come with the float line. I would recommend a different one it seemed to be really cheaply made. Had to get a different one very shortly after buying this one.

THEODORE T 14x16 is in the title of the product so I am betting you can guess the size of the flag... As described it does not come with a line. It is a flag and float. You have to get a reel or a line separately.

STEVEN G How do you attach the flag? There is a blue rubber piece near the top third of the pole that doesn't seem to move. If I can slide it down, then the glad will fit. Should the rubber piece slide? Thanks.

DIANE B Sorry for the delay in responding...we end up having to wrap a bit of electrical tape to the top of the pole after we put the flag on to keep it from sliding off. If I recall correctly, the blue clip broke when we initially tried moving it to slip the flag over. The tape works fine so it's not a big deal. We like the float and flag; it stays upright.

JOE P I believe it needed to slide down to work properly as well. I applied some liquid soap to it and it slid it to the proper place.

MARTIN P you have to warm up the rubber piece with warm (hot) water first, then you can slide it down the pole to the right position

ANTHONY M I'm not looking at mine, but from my memory, the rubber piece does slide.

VAL B There should be a little plastic half ring on top of the pole. You should be able to pull it off completely. Then you set the flag and then snap the half ring on top of the flag. Hope this helps.

JEFF I Hi - I had the same problem. Dish soap. Don't need much. Takes a little work to get it under the rubber, but once you do it'll slide to what ever position you want. I then I used fishing line to loop thru the wire on float to the wire groummet to make sure the flag stays attached to the float.
