I purchased the Aqua Blue 3m Womens 10Short. I have a "pear shaped" body - 36", 30", 40" at 128lbs and (only) 5'2". I find it difficult to find wet suits short enough (arms and legs, and trunks) yet large enough for my hips (yet not too large in the waist or bust or length). This was my 3 attempt (different brands, shorts hard to find). Finally success!! Yay!
I waited to post my review until I had 22 dives wearing it. It is comfortable. I can slide it on fairly easily (when hot it takes mo...re work over my hips) and once in the water it fits well. It dries fairly quickly afterward (quicker than my hubs different brand). My previous wetsuit was a 2/3ml and didnt keep me warm. This is better. We dive 77-82F waters.
I would definitely purchase again. (I found a lose thread on the arm cuff/seam which wanted to unravel but we simply reglued it w a waterproof binding pdt we've used b4. No worries. I must have snagged the end while putting on or off. It's fine now). I am very satisfied with this wet suit. (Happily purchased for US $74.75 on Sale).
This is a beautiful suit and fits like a glove. I bought this on a whim because I became chilly at 60ft in Hawaii in a 1mm, but my 7mm would have been awful for Hawaii, so I wanted something in between the two to help a bit in the future. This did the job and it is so comfortable, and very flattering. It doesn't restrict motion. I found the measurement chart helpful and accurate, with the caveat that I'm average height.

Well what time of day is not a concideration. Temp of water is. Know what your getting into first. I remember when I dove a lot we droped a temp device before gearing up. Thats the time to pick the suit and vest if needed. With this suit, anything below 77 deg is pushing it for me. Last testing was on Qct. 25th in Tampa bay. Air temp 82deg. Arms and legs were pretty cold at 73 deg water temp. Torso was a little chilly. Remember only 3/2mm suit. Im getting a full 5mm for colder temps below 77deg. Old stuff don't fit anymore. This Aquablue suit fits the majority of my temp range. In my review its all about the fit. This one fits great.
Im in Florida and used to much warmer air and sea temps. You always end up with more than one suit if you get into this sport for real. Comfort is critical. Its miserable being cold on a dive.

Hey all, I'm closing in ground pools in NJ, many require jumping in and threading cable for safety cover. I usually just dive in but I'd sooner be comfortable. Any suggestions?

Hello Edward, for the summer months in NJ, the 3mm would work for you. If you are doing this in the winter I would go with a 5mm or 7mm thickness for suit.

It has similar stretch neoprene to most entry level suits. However the extra stretchy panels make the suit feel very stretchy.
