Awesome suit! Works great as a rash guard or dive suit!

By Gypsy B.

I purchased this suit and liked it so much I purchased another! I originally purchased for cooler water diving as a rash guard under a wet suit, but it worked perfectly as my dive suit in the Caribbean!

Great for layers

Like a rash guard suit, great for thermal layer. Dries quickly. Made getting in wetsuits easier too. Well made

Questions about this item:

MELISSA L  Does this run true to the size chart? I am 5'2", 115lbs. Going by the size chart, I should get an xs (which still might be too long for me). In the Neosport lycra suit I wear a medium (which is a little big, but the small was tighter than I prefer, especially give the zipper issues the skins seems to have). Does anyone have both the Akona and the Neosport? How do sizes compare and which do you prefer? Thanks!
Senen G  Don't worry about the length as the shorter it is could cause it to tear. Really, you don't notice the length that much and it actually helps in putting it on.
Lee O  I am a dude, 6ft and weigh 245lbs! I am a 38 in a waist and I usually take a 3xl in shirts, would the XXL size in this skin suit fit me?
Mario C  Hard to say without trying. Use actual measurements, not pants or jacket sizes ( weight is the least precise) not much more than 2-3 inches from size chart should be ok since you are not at the maximum height .Chest 45-47 wait 37-39 hips 42-44 also check this model for the same price if 2xl is to small you can use the free return for size exchange for the 3xl https://www.leisurepro.com/p-ocqsk6/ocean-quest-6-oz-170-g-spandex-dive-skin-jumpsuit
RODNEY H  The suit fits skin tight…. My guess is the 2X would be very tight and you may have trouble zipping it up.
Shopper  Hi, I’m 6’0”, 185 lbs, 34” waist, etc. Large seems to be the size I need, but I have a 42” chest. In street clothes I wear a large. Should I go up a size to an XL? I don’t want a tight chest and loose everywhere else. Would a large still work with my chest size? Thanks!
JULIE K  Aloha, I purchased an XL because I have the same chest measurement but I am 6 feet tall so I wanted the extra length in the arms and legs. it fits perfectly for me… it’s stretchy and very well made. Hope this helps !! :))
Senen G  I always prefer something looser than tighter. Therefore, I would recommend the extra large.
JESSICA N  I am 5’8” and 220, with 44” across the chest, and 40” waist . I purchased a XXL and it was perfect. In all demensions, so I guess I would say they run small. hopefully That may help. I am thinking you may want XL for the chest. Good thing is if needed you could exchange.
SHAWN B  Stay with the large unless you plan to add layers underneath.
Mottl, J  I am 6'5" tall and 190 pounds waist 34 which size Akona skin suit should I buy?
Senen G  Your waist and weight say XL but height might make it a XXL or XXXL.
WAYNE Y  Does this allow water through the material? Is the material very stretchy? Quality? Text says back zipper but image shows front zipper... Which is it?
patrick M  Yes, it alows water through it and it is stretchy. The quality is good for the price. I believe mine had a front zipper...I'd contact Leisure Pro directly to verify.
Robert D  It does allow water through the material, which is a little stretchy. About as much as a wetsuit really. The one I ordered is a front zipper. As far as I’m aware, all skins have front zipper while wetsuits are backzip. Skins are just a layer under a wetsuit to help with warmth and make putting a wetsuit on easier but will allow water in as well. Hope this helps!
