Outstanding Fin

By DR F.

 -  Monument, CO, US

I purchased these strictly for travel. My Jet fins are perfect for pushing a full tec kit through the water. My Twin Max fins are hard to beat in the blue water and currents. But both are difficult to travel with. Jets are heavy and Max fins are long. So I purchased the GO Travel Fin for a trip to the Red Sea. These fins are so light weight I thought the fins could never push me adequately through the water or hold up to currents. I was wrong. They are great in all water conditions and pack e...

Solid, packable travel fins for both scuba diving and snorkeling

By MATHEW Y.

These fins are more than capable of handling mild to moderate warm water conditions (e.g., current and drift). The foot pocket is extremely comfortable and I had no issues going bare foot. The short broad blade is solid for frog, flutter and helicopter kicks. The one downside I experienced was during a giant stride where the bungee strap stretched enough to allow my foot to slip completely out of the foot pocket. But, this could have been due to the fins being brand new and having an oil re...

Go Traveling. Go Diving. Go Snorkeling, with the Go Fin: This new barefoot fin design is a boon to water-loving world travelers.
Like its name implies, Scubapro's new Go Fin is designed for traveling. Lightweight, comfortable, durable, and a fast and nimble performer, the Go is the ideal fin for divers, snorkelers and swimmers who enjoy globe-trekking.

Lightweight:
When it comes to premium travel fins, nothing compares to the Go when integrating high quality with light weight. For example, a pair of size M-L Go fins weighs in at a mere 2.6 lbs. (1.2kg), including bungee straps, again, that's for a pair. This translates into convenience and weight savings on the road, and comfort and ease of use in the water.

Super Comfortable:
The Go's barefoot design combines the fitment benefits of an open heel fin, with the comfort and barefoot freedom of a full foot fin. The replaceable self-adjusting bungee heel strap allows for a versatile fit, one diver can wear multiple sizes. The strap also makes it easy to don and doff the fin, and it fits comfortably against a bare heel, although the Go will also accommodate neo socks for divers who prefer a little extra foot protection.

Ultra Durable:
While extremely comfortable, the Go is also virtually indestructible. Its strong 100% Monprene construction avoids the problems of de-lamination, broken blades and torn foot pockets that tend to plague average thermoplastic fins. This enables the Go to stand up to long-term, heavy-duty use.

High Performance:
The Go fin excels in strength, comfort and convenience, but where it really shines is in kicking performance. The Go is built with a 25-degree pre-angled blade with a central power panel that provides longitudinal rigidity and creates a channeling effect. Power bars on the underside of the rails prevent over-flex; this helps maintain the optimum angle of attack under high load conditions. The result: you get a lightweight fin that delivers speed, power, stability and maneuverability with a minimum of effort.

Travel Friendly:
Being lightweight is always a plus when traveling, but so is compactness. Go fins are designed to fit easily in IATA carry-on compliant luggage. Even better, they pack extremely well due to an innovative piggy back stack system. An interlocking tooth on one fin blade hooks into the second fin, then the bungee strap from the second fin hooks the heel of the first fin into place. It's a snug pairing that makes packing and traveling that much easier. The perfect addition to the Scubapro fin range, the Go dedicated travel fin is lightweight, comfortable and virtually indestructible. It is easy to travel with and really-fun to use. That makes the Go the ideal fin for travelling divers and water lovers the world over. The Go Fins are available in multiple sizes.

Questions about this item:

Cynthia G  What is the length of the XXL GO travel fins?
darrick c  Hello Cynthis, this fin length is 22"
Shopper  i wear a women's 8 or 8.5...and will wear a thin sock.  what size is best?
darrick c  Hello, you would want the XSmall/Small size in the fins.
Shopper  Is the weight 1.2kg per fin or per pair of fins?
darrick c  Hello, that is the weight of the pair.
DAVID K  both, these are light weight and best travel fins I have ever owned.
Karan J  I wear a size 8.5 womens.  What size of fins do I need?
darrick c  Hello Karan, you would need the size XSmall/Small size for your 8.5 size.
THOMAS C  You should use size 9.0 barefoot for these fins. As an instructor, I always suggest to my students when getting fins that they get those that require or can be used with booties. You want booties for protection from rocks, shells, sea animals, wood, etc. These can be used with booties but you will have to buy one to two sizes larger and will not be able to use them barefoot.
Shopper  Just curious, I just got these fins and am wondering if they are supposed to fit rather tightly the top of the foot? I had one size smaller and they were way too tight so sized up to small. I wear a size 7 shoe.
darrick c  Hello Jun, this is the current model of the Bella, but this is the standard power inflator. The Air 2 would be an add-on cost to the price of the BCD with the Air 2 system.
darrick c  Hello, these fins should be snug on your feet. If you are in pain or uncomfortable, then I would go up one size.
