Advantages of Using an Underwater Scooter (Dive propulsion Vehicle)

This instructional video discusses the advantages of using underwater scooters. Having a dive scooter, also known as a diver propulsion vehicle (DPV), will eliminate the need to kick while diving since it is moving you through the water. It is common to improve your scuba diving time by about 50% because the less you work the less you breathe, and because of that, your air will last longer. The battery life on a diving scooter is approximately 90 minutes and it has a speed of about 2.5mph.
