The strap that goes around your heel is a spring. You can just pull it up and over your heel unlike the traditional straps you have to pull to tighten. The spring heel straps will usually snap right in to the place where your old rubber straps fit. The tension on the spring holds it to your foot without any worry of it falling off during your dive.
