Rating: Fantastic Knife Reviewer: Brian Green, Saturday, September 12, 2009 I found this online and bought it on a whim, and am extremely impressed by the craftsmanship and durability of this knife. It completely disassembles for easy cleaning, and has remained sharp enough that I have not needed to sharpen it yet. The plastic sheath is well designed, with the locks easy to manage without looking at it. Ive not only recommended this knife to others, Ive purchased them for friends as gifts as well. It is probably the sharpest and largest one I have ever owned but in the end we have been extremely pleased in using this knife. The greatest part about the knife is how well designed and the quality of materials used to make it. Because of how simply it comes apart for a thorough cleaning, it ensures a very long life for this knife. Simply put, a well designed, versatile, beautiful knife! Its well balanced, with a large enough blade to be useful without being bulky and in the way. Its light weight, and the handle gives you a secure feel even with gloves. It doesnt feel like its going to slip away easy. I have not been able to use it yet, but just the knife itself before use is great! The price for instance is great. I have been shopping around for a good titanium knife, but was discouraged by the price. The grip feels great, even in my small hands. The secure latch is easy to undo, and you are guaranteed to not loose your knife because you cant just accidentally push the release. I also like the fact you can take the knife apart for cleaning, and you can position the blade the way you want it (ie serrated blade out) in the handle. That is great!! I cant wait to use it. Rating: A Great Knife for Knu Reviewer: Michael Monnett, Wednesday, February 18, 2009 - View all my reviews intellectual honesty up front: i havent used this knife underwater yet. okay, more honesty i read all the reviews, good and not-so-good, and picked it anyway because the blue and black color scheme worked. heres what i can tell you for sure. anomalies aside that can happen to any manufacturer, the blade is well made and came honed to an outstanding edge, the sheaths positive lock works and is easy to use (youll see that in a lot of other reviews), the grip is worth a lot more than theyre charging for it, and disassembly is a piece of cake. of course its light its titanium. i typically buy things by going with the most expensive i can find just to try and ensure quality. i could have spent a lot more on a knife, but dont think i could be any happier. Im not actually a diver, but I use this for kayaking on Florida streams. Until a few years ago, I didnt used to worry about alligators, then a young woman - a new college grad - was killed by a gator at a remote cabin site on a private freshwater spring while snorkeling. I had rented that cabin only the week before. It made me stop to think that it could have been me that was attacked, I had heard the animal grunting in close proximity.
