Rating: "Stainless" Steel?

Knife seems fine. Relatively easy to pull out with one hand and a comfortable size for a forearm knife. My only surprise was upon diving with it for the first time in fresh water (not even salt) it discolored along the serrated edge. I don’t believe this will hamper performance. Appears to be nice and sharp but the only thing I have cut so far with it is some cheese and my index finger. Did a good job on both.

The knife looks great and the locking system works like a charm. The bands hold the knife to my leg perfectly. But the knife rusted on the first dive it was used. I rinsed it in fresh water and let it dry in the open and it rusted. An underwater knife should not rust on its first use.

Rating: Nice Knife But the blade and screws rust too quickly!
Reviewer: Edward Montserin, Monday, April 20, 2009
This is a nice small knife that comes with the hose attachment so it can be attached to one of the first stage hoses. However after one salt water dive the blade and screws that hold the hose attachment in place are completely rusted!

i have been looking for a bcd knife for quite a while. i finally found it. the main reason why i like this knife is that it can attach directly to my hose that connects to my power inflator. so it stays out of the way..

Great Diving knife...yet.... I think the hose adapter is a great Idea, but since it also comes with "legs straps" this should work, which in the case of this knife once cant even set them in the casing so be able to use them. Other than that it is a great knife to be used with the hose adaptor.

FAntastic attachment options.(used psg hose mount)As a commercial diver I have found that the "cool" calf mount gets knocked around when finningwhen on the inide, and gets caught when on the outside.( same for when on the forearm) but the SPG should be available all the time and the hose mount there is handy. This is a working knife. Holds a good edge when used(cleared a trawl from a net gaurd with alot of cutting).

Just used the cutterfish recently and it has a nice solid feeling. It does show a little signs of discoloration already which surprised me, but it feels like it will be a sturdy long lasting knife.
