Rating: The best bag on the market
Reviewer: William C., Thursday, April 10, 2008
ok, first let me start off by saying i have never reviewed anything before in my life but this bag was absolutely sensational! every year we vacation in st john to scuba and snorkel and every year i wind up lugging around my mask and fins in a mesh bag. this year i bought the scuba.com bag and i could not be happier. it fits everything mask, snorkel, large mens fins and my teenage daughters fins and mask (or a regulator in the bottom below the fins). there is agreat zip-up bag on the front big enough for a shirt, knife, compass, snacks, etc. and a smaller pocket higher up on the bag for a wallet and a cell phone. the daisey chain on the pack also allows for carrying a large beach towel (or wet clothes bundled up).
also - this bag is the only one i have seen that has two straps so it carries like a backpack. definitely, definitely, definitely buy this one if you are looking for the best snorkel bag out there!

Rating: LOVE THIS BACKPACK!!!
Reviewer: Kinsey S., Friday, August 01, 2008
PROS: I just purchased this bag on 7/08/08 for a trip to the Bahamas and love it!!! It is much bigger than I anticipated and you cant beat it for the price. It will definitely hold a lot of gear. I placed my fins, booties, mask, snorkel, and gloves in the main compartment with lots of room to spare. The outer pockets are really big and can also hold a lot! I put a ton of sunscreen (5 sprays), board shorts, extra t-shirt, wallet, sunglasses container (perfect fit in top pocket), and other items on the outside pockets alone. It was great to have a backpack and not a bag so it was one less thing I had to carry with my hands. (It also looks really cool:-))
CONS: I should have put silicone on the zippers before I went on my trip. They are not salt water resistant so they need protection from the elements before use.

Rating: great product
Reviewer: Christine H., Saturday, November 01, 2008
my husband and I went to the Big Island of Hawaii, so there were a number of snorkel access points that we were walking a ways from the parking area to or along beach trails to get to. These backpacks were perfect. Beisdes gear we were able to tuck skins and towels, lotion and a few enegry bars and water bottles. Some places we could hang from tree branches to keep off the ground (especially useful in an ant filled area) and a place to store clothes and sandals while in the water so no worry of stuff blowing away. Only complaint was that my husband didnt like the way the top stuck up behind his head, i didnt mind.

Rating: Sturdy and convenient
Reviewer: George H., Monday, June 02, 2008 - View all my reviews
i brought the bag on several dives in hawaii. it worked beautifully for holding my mask, fins, booties, snorkel, keys, and dive logs (i used a separate dry bag to hold my towel and clothes). one of the best parts about the bag is that theres a hole at the bottom of the bag that lets the water and sand drain out of the bottom without having to turn the bag upside down. the mesh at the top of the fin-holding portion of the bag also helps let the fins dry out during the trip back after diving.
one note though, the bag only holds one set of finsim not sure how anyone got them to hold two sets.

Im disabled and the bag is PERFECT for carrying my mask fins and snorkel plus other stuff to take to the "Y" or to my boat. I highly recommend this bag. I purchased 2 of them. The only problem I experenced was with the zipper for the fin compartment. I was going to return it but playing with the zipper and learning how to pull the zipper fixed that problem. The second bag didnt have this problem. keeping your stuff together is easy with this backpack. Also its very easy to carry aroud on your back leaving your hads free to carry other equipment, 5 stars for the mask, snorke, fin bag.

Rating: Great bag!
Reviewer: Amy D., Monday, July 14, 2008
I can fit a ton of stuff in this bag! I have long fins, boots, mask, snorkel, light weight skin, log book & weight belt all in this handy bag. There are also external straps to attach dry clothes and towel. The double shoulder straps are also very handy. I like that you can wear this as a backpack leaving your hands free.
It also works great as a cary on bag and can fit in the overhead bins. This has become quite an issue now that people have to pay to check luggage.

Rating: Mask, Fin & Snorkel Backpack Bag-incredible value
Reviewer: John Axisa, Tuesday, September 09, 2008 - View all my reviews
This bag is ideal for carrying snorkel gear or when traveling with only your mask, fins & snorkel. It is made of all heavy duty materials and is large enough to carry the largest of fins with plenty of room for other items (mask, defogger, etc). It is packed with tons of features including pouches, straps and carrying straps making it the ultimate bag. Best of all, the price. I almost want to buy another one just in case I lose this one!

I live in St. John in the US Virgin islands, and I do a lot of hiking to some snorkeling spots off the beaten path. I had looked at snorkeling backpacks everywhere, and couldnt find the features I wanted - double straps, good quality and multiple pockets along with a bungie for carrying a towel. This backpack exceeded all of my expectations, and at a price that is FAR below any competition! Thanks for such a great product.

When I recieved my Backpack Bag I was ery pleasantly surprized by the high quality and design of this product for such a low cost. Very nice shoulder straps and zippers with great design for storage of fins, snorkel and mask kept in the plastic storage box. Also enough room for a skin and an additional outside zippered pocket that makes it an ideal carry-on. Great product just for equiptment storage alone.

This is a great snorkel gear bag. We purchased it to use as a carry-on bag for a diving trip to Utila and promptly fell in love with it. It held 2 sets of fins, masks, and snorkels... with room for extra stuff. Wonderful bag for the price! We told several divers about the great deal! Would highly recommend it! it actually has 2 shoulder straps, unlike all the others I looked at. Thats why I bought it and I love it!

My husband and I went to Key West for a week. These bags were great to hold our fins, snorkel, and mask along with other items. We used scooters to go snorkel some places and it was great to just put these on our back and go!! Plus the gear was able to dry out because of how open the bags are. I was pleasantly surprised when they came in because the price was so low.

Rating: Great Carrying Bag
Reviewer: CYRUS HOMAYOUNI, Thursday, October 23, 2008
The bag is great. It holds large split fins, and has two external pockets. It has enough room ofr fins, snorket, nask, booties and gloves with extra left over for a towel. The outside pockets can carry lots of extra such as sunscreen, etc. It has two back straps like a backback. The material is excellent quality and very durable. I am completely happy.

This bag is perfect for dive trips where you cant take your BC due to space. I travel often- usually space available (standby)on the airlines. I needed to find a bag that would carry my fins, mask, and dive computer that wasnt either a suitcase, or a small carryon. Luckily, once again Scuba.com came through. This backpack type bag is great!

Thanks scuba.com for making a great carry backpack.

Great bag. I love all the exterior pockets. Theyre all different sizes, so I have room for all my accessories like gloves, knife, etc. The bag is very roomy inside, plenty of room for fins plus my boots. Basically I can carry everything I need for diving except my suit, regulator and BC. Great for snorkeling and warm weather trips!!

For the price, I wasnt expecting a bag as well made as this one. Sturdy cloth and heavy zippers with plenty of room for full-sized fins and the rest of my gear. The backpack straps are an added bonus and the bag shape is perfect to slip into the storage hold of my kayak for transport to my favorite dive spots. Great bag.

Beginner diver here. Bought two, one for me and one for my partner. Fins, mask, snorkel, and Booties all fit with ease. Pockets give you room for wallet, cell phone, keys or what not. Larger pocket is great for towel or dry shirt. The back pack straps are great and comfortable. I would definatley recommend this product.

My son and I traveled with buddy passes and used these bags. We had one other carry on bag and our scuba bags. They were great. All of our snorkel gear fit in them as well as the bag has 2 other pockets in the front for a dive log, or anything else you may need on the plane. We loved the extra space.

BUY THIS...i like the straps for back pack use and it is very roomy for all the essentials for snorkel or scuba...
just one thing that could be improved is that the zipper pull when exposed to salt water corrodes it but zipper still works.
