Being fair-skinned and planning on spending all of the 4th of July on the beach in San Diego, this top was perfect. Its light weight, a light color that doesnt heat up in the sun and it looked great on me. But it also gives a little bit of warmth in the chilly ocean water. I slipped it on once I felt my upper body getting burned and it kept me comfortable and crisp-free the rest of the day. The sizing chart on line insured a terrific fit and the cap sleeves kept my shoulders from burning without giving me that "Farmers tan" line above my elbows (or the back of my neck). I didnt have to feel slick from applying sunscreen several times each day. This was exactly the top I needed. And a great price.

Rating: Sizing your body glove for beach wear.

Body glove shirts are great for sun protection and warmth at the beach, however when ordering size for beach wear order 1 size larger than size chart reccomends. These shirts where designed to fit tight to skin hence (glove )to be worren under wet suits. For beach comfort most people do not want them that tight we find ordering 1 size larger body glove still stays in place in the water while protecting you from the suns harmful rays. They wear like iron and hold there shape other shirts we have tried do not hold up to the wear of my water loving teenagers.

This was the first purchase that I have made from this site, and to be honest I was more than happy. This is exactly what I was looking for. Though leery even after my purchase when I got my package just a few days latter, inside was exactly as described. So if you are looking for a lightweight shorty, this is the one for you.

Nice shirt I use for warm water snorkeling. I stress what others have said about this item, order at least a size larger than you normally use. I am a medium, ordered a large thanks to others reviews, and it fits plenty snug. Other than that its a good buy.

Yes I understand these need to be a little tight to work well but I will order the next size up next time.
I wear Xlarge sized things normally but I think an XXlarge in this would work better under my wetsuit.
Quality of the item is A++

I purchased this product for my wife as she is getting certified in the next several weeks and she loves it. I do agree with the other rash guard reviews, order on size larger then the chart states.

I have had a number of scratch guards in my life and my body style isnt as accomodating anymore. This one was a perfect fit, just as described and the company delivered on time and at a great price.

We just went on a dive trip to Buddydive in Bonaire, in this week i dove 5 to 6 times a day and this shirt held up great it give me the protection that i was after and still looks great.

I used this rash guard for a 10 day beach/snorkeling trip. It was comfortable, fast drying. Didnt get sunburned despite hours in the sun. Tight fitting but didnt seem undersized.

I bought this shirt to wear when I dove in the Carribean. Worked Great! But it does run small, so order one size bigger if you are thinking about this shirt.

a little tight on the fit, but a great dive undergarment. No board short connector like the more expensive models, but not necessary for scuba use.
