Bright, is basically the only word you need to know. This two stage brightness light, stays lit for hours or can be turned on and off without fear of damaging the bulb (cause it is an LED). The back up light is also surprisingly bright and a great alternative to carrying the big light around. Of course there is also the tank light that is included. Basically, this is a great package that is far cheaper than many of the more HID systems. Good value, and will definitely buy again if needed.

It took a month to get my order a shockwave L.E.D., but it was worth the wait. My dear husband loves it so much and enjoys night dives with it and can see great and for the price you cant beat Scuba.com no way!! We will always come back to purchase more items as we need them the staff there are extraordinary helpful. Feel confidant as we do at Scuba.com

The provided lights are all LED technology. Each system gives you PLENTY of extra burn time. I find these lights to be very a very bright white light. They do not appear to be as focused in a beam as say a halogen but the surrounding cone of light is a brighter white. Used these lights which come with nice lainyard on a wreck dive in 30 foot viz and found them to be great. Good package for the money.

Now that Ive gone LED I dont see ever going back to anything else. I have gotten great battery life out of each of the lamps.
The only down part is the tank light, it immediately drowned itself and thus no longer functions correctly. I got it cleaned out and working dry again, checked all the seals and again, when used diving it drowned itself. All the other lamps work beyond expectation though.

This is the second (identical) light pack that we ordered. That ought to say something! If you are looking for U/W light that approaches canister lights in LED format, this is the main light you should be aiming for. All the back-up accessories (the backup light is very bright also) make this a very value-oriented package. This one is a winner!

The Princeton Tec Shockwave LED Pak is a convenient way to get all the lighting gear you need for night dives. The Eco-Flare is great and you can easliy spot your buddy. The beam from the main light however seemed to be a bit difuse. It would have been nice if the beam were a bit more focused allowing better illumination.

Recieving my dive cert in 8th grade and growing up the child of two dive masters, I have seen and used many lights. This is by far the most true to white light I have used let alone seen. Thank you scuba.com and Princton Tec!!

After seeing my new dive light set, several of my buddies have replaced theirs. If you want more light, you are going to have to go with the more expensive HID lights. For the average diver this is an excellent choice.

Got a torch that had a problem with the switch but after a prompt replacement, I found the product to be fantastic and to the specifications noted. Lightweight, rugged design and great light output. Great product.
