Rating:  Nice shoes, but can slip off?

After using the high top booties for years, I finally went with these ankle boots. I love that they are so easy to get on/off, but I almost feel like they could slip off when Im using them. It doesnt seem too secure around the achilles tendon. Also, when I take my foot out of the fin, the shoe sometimes slips off my foot and stays in the fin! I believe I have the right size, but maybe my foot just isnt the right shape for these booties. They will work excellently for snorkeling though!

I purchased these boots for my trip to Bonaire after reading several reviews. They held up very well on the hard coral and rocks. They protected my feet well and didnt slip. The only thing that was mildly irritating is that, when wet, they kind of suctioned to the bottom of my foot. this may be the case with all hard soled booties or I may have had a pair that was not the right size. As long as I was under water or the boots were dry, though, no worries at all.

The Henderson Gold Core Low Top boots fit nicely without any discomfort. The 3mm is just enough protection for warm water diving and the soles are thick enough to handle rocky shores.
Fin retention is nicely situated and worked in keeping the fin straps from slipping.
No complaints here.

I like the low profile aspect of this boot. The boots are light weight and streamlined. However, the boots could stand to be a little bit wider, and my fin strap rubbed the back of ankle at times.

These Henderson Gold boots really are excellent. It is very difficult to find shoes and related equipment to fit my size 15 feet and these boots are incredible for diving and jet skiing.

Bought these for a trip to Jamaica. Had five dives in 82 F water. Loved the boots, wish they dried faster like the insta dry boots. Just ordered a pair for my son for hawaii

I purchased these boots to use with my new Apollo Bio Strap fins and they performed very well. They dry out quickly and were comfortable to wear on rocky/coarse sand.

We lived in these boots in Bonaire! Totally got our moneys worth! comfortable, easy on , easy off. drove in them, walked around the resort in them. hard core!
