Rating: Excellent product for slim divers.
Reviewer: Gabriel S., Sunday, January 08, 2012 - View all my reviews
Im 59"ish and about 150 lbs, I bought a size Medium (Male) and this thing fits me Snug/perfect! It has great mobility and keeps me warm in So. Ca. waters. Needless to say its a great product for slimmer people (since I have a pretty slim/athletic build). I would say the size chart is true with the taller/heavier extreme of the size being very snug on the wearer.

Rating: Good suit, but be thorough adjusting the neck.
Reviewer: Jerry L., Tuesday, August 30, 2011 - View all my reviews
I have had this suit out in Lake Superior half a dozen times in the last few weeks. We have been diving areas where the water temperature has been in the mid to high 60s F, so it has not yet proven itself in cold water. It has a Velcro closure on the neck seal that tends to let a little water leak in if not adjusted just right. I ordered the size where I fell in the middle of all the ranges of the Pinnacle size chart and find that it could be a little longer to get a better seal between suit, boots and gloves. The zippers at the ankles also have a tendency to unzip about an inch during the dive, although I have yet to feel any water infiltration from this. I have not felt cool or uncomfortable even after 2 and 1/2 hours in the water with this suit, but I dont get cold easily.

Rating: Pinnacle 7mm Cruiser Titanium Jumpsuit / Wetsuit
Reviewer: Chester C., Monday, June 27, 2011
Just got this suit by taking advantage of another great Scuba.com promotion. This suit fits perfectly on me. I am 510", 185 lb Male (w/ Athletic build) and the Pinnacle chart calls for a Med-L or L-Short. I went with the Large and am glad i did, as the Pinnacles tend to have the Italian Tailor cut (ie Cressi, Mares). If you have bigger thighs the longer length will be taken up by them. If your similar in size I would recommend going up at least 1-2 sizes of the recommended one. Also, no problem getting the length over a 5mm Pinnacle boot.
As far as warmth, just used it 2x in Great lake diving and was warm @ 58 F. on a repetitive dive. Will be going back to So. Cal in August and will try it out at deeper depths then.
In Sum, Great suit for the Price !

I bought this suit for students to use during dive training in Maine. The student who used it had no trouble putting it on and was warm during the dive. The price was perfect and the quality was good especially for an entry level diver.

I use this suit for diving off the coast of Mendocino. This suit keep me just the right temperature. Im a 62 195 and I chose the suit to their recommended specs and its a little tight in the crotch and the back. It feel like its going to rip when I bend over, but so far it has held strong and Ive been diving with it approx 10 times. Other than that its a great suit.

All the wetsuits I used to rent made me hate diving in cold water. They would constrict my neck and make it harder to breathe and Id be worn out just getting them on. This wetsuit is so comfortable and much easier for me to get on it makes me cant wait for my next cold water dive!

Rating: Winter swimming
Reviewer: Maggi Perl, Saturday, October 31, 2009 - View all my reviews
I got this wetsuit for some winter swimming in my pond in WV.
I wanted to get an XL which is what seemed best going by the size chart. Reviews mentioned that sales people were very helpful on size so I let the salesman talk me into a L. Wrong! Had to send it back and get an XL so the size chart was accurate. It is Halloween and the temperature is 50 degrees and the pond water is cold. I was very comfortable swimming a mile. The legs kept my feet up very high until I used a set of ankle weights that helped a whole lot.
Swimming in this suit at this time of year is very enjoyable and hopefully I will be able to swim in much colder temperatures.
Thanks!

So far the suit is doing a good job. Used the online guide for fitting. It fit well also the suit is well made. Has heavy duty zippers and seams are reinforced on the inside. I just did some dives at Rawlins Lake, Va. It was an old quarry. Down to 35ft temps were very warm. Hit strong thermoclines down to 60 ft. and head ach cold water. Suit did very well. Went back and got my hoody. Much better!!!!

Good suit, keeps me warm diving 4-6 hours in 70 degree water. The leg zippers make it much easier to get in the suit. As of late the stitching has been coming apart in multiple places, if it gets any worse ill probably return it. Other than that its an excellent suit that I definitely recommend.

This is a well made wetsuit for a very good price. The sizing is very accurate, I am 511 - 160lbs and the medium tall fit perfect. The zippers are good quality YKKs (not the cheap plastic ones) and make donning the suit very easy. The neoprene is quite flexible and all the seams are done well and reinforced at the stress points. It has nice knee pads, shoulder pads and a nice thick spine pad.
I got this suit for warm weather cave dives when I dont want to wear a drysuit. Those water the temps are consistent at 72* and the suit kept me quite warm on 90-minute + dives.
This is a good value wetsuit.

Rating: Great Item
Reviewer: Brian B., Sunday, April 26, 2009
This jumpsuit is great! Let me say this first, I do not scuba dive and I did not get the suit to do any diving. I live in Alabama and the waters on the lakes here are warm (with no wet-suits needed) most of the year. I wakeboard all the time and decided to get serious about it. That meant riding in the winter months of Feb./Mar./Apr. The water doesnt get warm enough to swim in until mid May so I decided to invest in a wet-suit. Couldnt have asked for a better one. I put this thing through hell boarding with it. It is flexible, and easy to put on and most of all it kept me warm in very cold water. I didnt get chilled once. It warms quickly and does the job perfectly. The size chart is tricky, I would recommend a size up but other than that, I am more than happy with my purchase. Scuba.com did great with the shipping too.

Reviewer: James Holmes, Monday, March 16, 2009
This suit fits very well. The size is true to fit. I have used this suit to 51 degree water with no problem. The knee pads are well made and the rubber on the sholders works well in keeping my BCD from slipping. Very little water seepage through the neck, hands and feet. I also ordered the full hood that goes with this suit and it works excellent with it ( 5mm Pennicle hood). This is a well made suit that is well worth the money if you dive cold water.

Reviewer: Dan Z., Saturday, December 06, 2008
I really like this suit. It seems well amde with attention to details. The zippers are sturdy and seams are well attached. I also like the Merino lining. I have been in water to 59 degrees so far and I was warm enough for the first dive and started to chill at the end of my second 45 dive. I should add that I felt dry the whole time.
Sizing is a bit hit or miss. I am 63" and 240lbs. The sizing chart says I should be a XXL short. I ordered the XXL reg. I have never bought anyhting "short in my whole life. I am glad I did not get the short, even the "reg" lenght is a tad short. Great suit.
BTW Scuba.com shipping was really fast with great service

the scuba.com(pinnacle?) salesman fit me dead on over the phone its a very warm suit in 55 degree water. I havent worn it in any other temperature.had a bump start because of the inaccurate on-line fitting chart that would have queered my time critical dive schedule. Like the wool lining feature.
Has a good beat, easy to dance to Id give it a 10

This is my first on-line purchase of a wetsuit. Its snug to put on and takes some effort. It is the correct size for me according to the size chart. The suit gets easier to put on each time, if I was purchasing off the rack I might have gone a size larger. I purchased a medium, I am 510", 160lbs. We dive in water from 62F-72F, the suit is very warm and comfortable, with the addition of a hood and gloves I do not get the least bit chilled.

I am a New England diver and purchased this suit to dive the cold waters here in Boston. I am 6-2 220lbs and I originally ordered a 2XL which I would not have been able to get on even if used crisco and a shoe horn to slide it on. I ordered the 3 XL which fit but has a little extra room in some places. The suit feels great and is extremely warm. Scuba.com handled my exchange and refund well. I will continue to use scuba.com for my future purchases.

I bought this wetsuit for cold diving in the West/ Northwest coast.
When I first received this wetsuit and tried it on I had a feeling it wouldnt fit, but it just did. I jumped into my apartment pool and it gave just enough. In other words the sizing chart works great. Ill be honest in saying that I havent tested it in cold water yet but it seemed to let very little water in when I tried it in the pool. The merino wool really seems to help with the insulation. It does itch a little bit though, mainly when you are out of the water. If you are really irritated by wool you might want to consider another suit. The 10mm pad in the back is nice for extra insulation and the ankle zippers make donning and removal of the wetsuit a little easier. I have mentioned it to some scuba divers and they have told me that pinnacle is a good brand. This far I am happy with my purchase

Having been exclusivly in a DUI dry suit the past ten years I needed a wet suit that would meet my needs for a recent North Carolina wreck trip with some of my old buddies. My 3mm caribean just wouldnt cut it for the deep watter and long decos. The Pinnacle 7/5 worked out great. It was warm comfortable and the fit (lrg. short) was great for my build ( 57" 46" shoulders 34" waist). A shop suit on special order, or worse, a custum fit suit would have cost hundreds more. I have even used it on Cold New England dives this past week. Coupled with a full hood and gloves I have been warm even when it was deep dark and cold. Im finding I go to it more than I thought I would if I dont require a drysuit.
