Rating: Pinnacle-Merino-Titanium-Hooded-Vest the perfect extra bit of warmth
Reviewer: rebecca b., Thursday, June 04, 2009
i have a pinnacle 5mm merino wetsuit and i am a warm water diver still, i always get cold, especially after repetitive dives. the pinnacle hooded vest was perfect on my most recent trip to belize - the water may have been 80, but, i happily wore the vest for the 2nd / 3rd / 4th dives of the day and enjoyed my experience that much more for not having to trade thoughts of less bottom time for more warmth.

I recently bought this hooded vest to take to the Florida Keys to dive in late November. I wore it under a 3mm full suit and it kept me warm in 69 degree water. The only time I got a little cool was when my friend and I stopped moving for extended periods to turn over rocks looking for shells to collect. If I kept moving, it worked great.

Rating: Pinnacle-Merino-Titanium-Hooded-Vest Pinnacle Merino Titanium Hooded Vest
Reviewer: Margaret H., Friday, October 31, 2008
I bought this hooded vest at the last minute for a trip to North Sulawesi. Scuba.com was able to get the vest to me within two days, which was great. It turned out I only needed to use the vest once during the trip, but it was great. Kept me toasty warm on the fifth dive of the day under my 3mm full suit and was very easy to get on and off, unlike my Henderson gold core that requires a team effort to remove.

Rating: Pinnacle-Merino-Titanium-Hooded-Vest Does what it should
Reviewer: Steve LoChiano, Friday, September 12, 2008
The reason for me getting this product was to dive in waters to cold for 3mm suit. I have used it several times and has kept me very warm. For me, I am as warm with a 3mm and this vest as I would be with a 7mm. The vest fits well. It covers everything that I wanted it to. The hood has some small holes in it for water flow. The I am not sure if there is any real titanium in it or not but it works for me. I would recommend it to others.

Reviewer: RICK C., Friday, June 27, 2008
This vest is awesome, very light but super warm. The hood doesnt squeeze your head and is warm and comfortable. Vest can be worn over a wetsuit for additional warm and protection for your head especially around jellyfish. I would highly recommend it. Capt Rick Niceville Florida

Excellent fit. Worth the price, best hooded vest. Very dense and non-costricting. 7mm hood for warmth, and the 3mm vest is perfect under a 7mm 1 piece wet suit. Dove in 46 degree water, and totally adaquite.

Rating: Pinnacle-Merino-Titanium-Hooded-Vest Great Vest
Reviewer: Karen M., Friday, August 24, 2007
This is a great vest to add warmth when snorkeling or under a wetsuit for diving. Im used to diving in 82 degree + water. The addition of this vest made diving in 72 degree water comfortable. The hood really keeps in heat. Very comfortable to wear, even between dives.

Rating: Pinnacle-Merino-Titanium-Hooded-Vest Awesome hooded vest
Reviewer: Kathleen T., Friday, April 06, 2007 - View all my reviews
Just received this hooded vest a few weeks ago and have used it on several pretty cold dives so far(50 degree bottom temp). It is super warm! The merino wool makes a HUGE difference. It was a bit tight at first to get over my head, but it gets easier with practice.

Rating: Pinnacle-Merino-Titanium-Hooded-Vest The best vest hood I ever used
Reviewer: Royston Nguyen, Saturday, December 02, 2006
This vest has kept me completely warm ever since I started using it. Even though it cost a it bit more then the regular one, Pinnacle sure added some feature not found elsewhere and made this vest very warm. The instant I took the vest off, the cold air really got to me and was a proof enough that this merino lining really is worth the extra $$$.

Good product, the hood is a little difficult to don. Once on it is quite comfortable.

Adds that extra layer of warmth when diving in cold water and fits great around the face. I need the warmth because of where I live. Larry Twidwell
