Snorkeling can be a relaxing and frequently less expensive alternative to scuba
that allows the snorkeler to experience some of what the scuba diver sees while
remaining comfortably on the surface. It is often how scuba divers are first introduced
to the sport as they swim across the surface, seeing all colorful life and building
inside the snorkeler the desire to experience and interact with what they see more
closely. For other people snorkeling is the limits of their comfort level in the
water and the highlight of their experience. They engage in their adventure with
the same level of excitement and wonder that the scuba diver does when embarking

Wetsuits are a scuba divers primary source of protection from the underwater environment.
