Differences Between Wrist Mount and Console Dive Computers Instructional Video
Instructional Video Review
This instructional video explains the difference between console dive computer and wrist mount dive computer scuba computers. The console dive computer either comes with an air integrated system or a pressure gauge. The wrist computer will provide the same information as the console without the pressure unless, of course, you have a transmitter. If you have a transmitter, it will provide you with a digital pressure reading on your wrist computer, so a pressure gauge would not be needed while diving. Both dive computer types have their advantages, so it is up to you to decide what your preference is while scuba diving.
