I was wondering what everyone thinks about the cobra digital vs. analog compass. I have hear the analog is still the way to go and the digital may take more power from your guages? Please let me know what you think.

I've not seen the Cobra Digital compass works or is powered but my personal thinking on the item is that is a sort of "if it is not broke, don't fix it" situation. The Analog compass we use today is functional, reliable, never needs a battery and is extremely easy to use. They are designed to fit into consoles, wrist and hose mount boots as well as mount on retractors. I don't really see a reason to spend extra money on something that can only do the exact same thing as analog version.
