DIR stands for "Doing it Right"

and is a phrase mostly contected to GUE standards of diving.

It is an approch to diving that pushes team diving (dive planning) Bouncany control and stream lined equipment config.

You can read more about it at www.gue.com or www.scubadivernet.com

or email me and i'll give you more info.
this is a very very very breif explantion.

thank for the question.

NAUI also has a full line of technical course standards and the materials to teach them. Most of the instructor guides are on Powerpoint and allow the instructor organize the lessons to meet the needs of the students.

Bouyancy Control - is the process of trimming your bouyancy or lift under or above the water.

Bouyancy - is the positive lift (stay off the bottom or stay at the surface) or negative weight (to add in drop underthe water).
