DIR stands for "Doing it Right"

and is a phrase mostly contected to GUE standards of diving.

It is an approch to diving that pushes team diving (dive planning) Bouncany control and stream lined equipment config.

What is "Bouncany control"?

Bouyancy Control - is the process of trimming your bouyancy or lift under or above the water.

Bouyancy - is the positive lift (stay off the bottom or stay at the surface) or negative weight (to add in drop underthe water).
