i have a set of retaactable 80 lbs. lift that i use to ... shall we say to mud puppy around, but they are taking a beating i am looking for some ideas to protect them? i have thought of using an inner tube in the shape of a horse shoe but i am looking for some better ideas before i went ahead and tried it

You might try contacting the manufacture, they might have something already designed for what you're looking for.

I have seen just what you need. It was made of light weight kevlar. From what I could see it was it was a jacket with the gromit holes placed to coincide with the bc and made big enought to allow full bladder expansion. The diver told me it was a home brew but nicely done in my openion.The underside of the jacket which would be away from any abrasion was made of a spandex type material.

have tried the inner tube idea
works not too bad but has its draw backs
i like the idea of the kevlar
