I am looking for an ankle weight system that is similiar to the weight belt. The ankle straps are nylon and small lead weights are threaded onto the belt. Does anyone know where or if this type exists?

Thanks

I've wore out 2 sets of the tube and shot ankle weights. People sometime question my sanity BUT, I use heavy chain with quick links for ankle weights now.

Most ankle weights seem to be designed for fit, comfort and depth compensation, so Velcro and elastic materials are the most common. It sounds like Greg is into Heavy Metal Diving [Smile]

I use SeaSoft ankle weights. There a little pricey but I get them at cost and have never had any trouble with them.

I know a few people that use ankle weights. Most are useing them to counter a problem that can be fixed with your gear adjustment. We dont use them tech diving and if you do it might help to get someone that has very good bouyancy skills to look at yr gear. I fixed mine in about 10 minutes and then thru the ankle weights in the trash. If you are diving dry, they can present more problems.
