I would have thought that many more people would post here. It's nice to have lots of posts due to someone else could trigger a thought to make you do something safer or ask a question on something. Has it always been like this or is it just a bad month?
Try to keep in mind how many people are on vacation diving right now or are getting ready to go now that travel and lodging prices are going down. This is a great place to get some fires started and get some great info on what's going on in the dive industry and with equipment. Keep the faith.
I had planned to make a run down to Lakecity Florida and visit a few caverns. But due to the recent events in the South not a room was to be had. I guess the nephew and I will dive a few of the local sites. The Watagua Lake and Jocassee Lake make for some good diving. At least it will releave the shakes. I get that way when I've been out of the water too long. Anybody out there got any sugestions on sites in the Virginia , North & South Carolina area lakes and such? Fess up now!!! there's a desperate dive here with a Labor Day weekend to survive.
EANX is the way to go. Much less fatigue and way more bottom time. Make sure to have your equipment cleaned for O2 service and be sure to get your gas from a reputable source.
That's the way to look at it. When these things get forced, they're not as much fun as they're supposed to be. It's also a good idea to stay in the water with your gear and stay current with your skills. The course will be a bonus when it happens.

Tanker1 was looking for good VA NC dive sites, check out the Lynnhaven Dive Center Web site, it lists all the local dive spots, wrecks, etc for your diving pleasure!.
