You may want to try using the ProEar 2000 mask which makes equalizing easier. You can get more info by visiting www.proear2000.com

HMan,

I read about the ProEar mask in a recent magazine (PADI's SportDiving, I think) and the author thought it was great. He even convinced the DiveMaster of the boat he was on to give them ago.

Here are some photos off of their website for those who want to see what they look like.

According to the article I read, not only did they help with equalizing, but the allowed for improved hearing underwater (you can tell what direction the sound is coming from).

Hmmmm...wonder if I can convince my dive shop to get one to try out.....

I think you will find the review in the May issue of Sport Diver Magazine.
If you check out the ProEar website there are many other reviews and testimonials about the mask as well.
