Can anyone suggest a dive resort where children are attended to while parents are diving? Thanks!

I'll try to help, but since I havent any, I may not be what you need. Try the florida keys. These are pretty areas to dive, and have child attractions. Also you can rent your kids some snorkel stuff, and go have some family fun in the shallow reefs around the beaches.

I've just been to 'The Shandrani Hotel' in Mauritus, it was fab! Definately my best holiday, and it was also totally geared up for kids, just as adults.
A bit expensive though, but worth it!
