I would be so pleased if any divers with long hair could recommend a method for keeping your hair from being in dreadlocks after every dive. My hair is about waist length, and I hate the hours it takes to comb it out as well as the damage. I have tried putting it in a pony tail with several bands and even extra conditioner. Nothing helps! Thanks, Jennifer
Hi Jennifer, my hair is not as long as yours but what makes it easier on me is to braid my hair before diving.QUOTE]Originally posted by jennifer: I would be so pleased if any divers with long hair could recommend a method for keeping your hair from being in dreadlocks after every dive. Hi Jennifer!
I used to work in a Dive shop and I know that there was a peice, made out of neoprene (the same material used to make wetsuits) that held hair in an enclosed ponytail and saved it from tangles! I don't remember the exact name of the product, but I would go to your nearest dive shop and look into it.
My wife has hair that comes well past her butt. She uses a slap strap as well as braiding it, it is still a mess when she comes up. In her words those baywatch babes are fake. it just don't happen that way.
