What kinds of jobs are available for PADI Divemasters? My BF would like to take people on boat dives, or something to that tune. Is it true that you're more likely to find a job like that with at least an Instructor certification? He doesn't want to take out beginners or anything. He does want a career in diving, so is it a waste to only get a Divemaster certification?

The more additional skills you have other than just divemaster or instructor will help in obtaining a job. Someone who is certified to repair scuba equipment or licensed to drive a boat or can repair air compressors might be more valuable to the facility than just a DM or instructor. Contact some of the resorts you are thinking of working at and find out what they need.
