The age restriction will vary between agencies, some allow certification as young as 10 years old. Check with www.padi.com, www.naui.com, www.ssiusa.com for the current age limits and speciality courses available for junior divers.

Hello i am going to take the open water course in acapulco and i wanted to know after i get my certificate what else do i need to get my certificate for nitrox, thank you

i got my certification with SDI (Http://www.tdisdi.com)At age ten. It is only a junior open water certification. Im also thinking about nitrox class, with padi the age is 15, i got 2 years left .

diver down where do you live??? we are the same age so it might be interesting if we go scuba dving togethere one day bye

now i know where yuou are from im going to get my open water certificate this summer in acapulco im from mexico but right now im living in canada maybe after i get my certificate we can go scuba diving

SDI is now letting ten years and up get certifiction for nitrox, computer nitrox is the name of it!!
