I dive in Phuket quite a bit ( about 6 times per year ) I have had excellent success with

They have good instructors & dive masters and good live aboards.

It looks like your going on a west pac, just got off one my self. Phuket has a couple reputable dive institutions. Warm water divers is a good one and so is Scuba Cat.
