My son (11) is certified, and is having trouble finding fins that fit. He is an adults 5, which is the smallest size we could find. The problem is that the strap meets the cup of the fin with his heel just inside, so his foot tends to slip out. All of the kid's fins we have seen are too small. Any suggestions?

A quick idea would be to stuff a wadded sock into the toe of the footpocket to see if that would move his foot back enough. Just be sure not to overtighten the straps so that his toes are not jammed.

They do make fins his size you just have to shop around, ask them to check the mfg catalog, just because you dont see it in the store doesnt mean they cant get what you need. You might want to ask for a mfg catalog if you find a fin you like and see what sizes they make and have the shop special order it from the mfg for you.

I wear a mens size 4 and I fit great in my Bio-fins size Small.
