Naturally skeptical, I thought the claim of a truly dry snorkel was on parallel with a free trip to Fantasy Island. I am, however, pleased to report that after testing the Oceanic Ultra Dry Snorkel in both calm and rough seas, it more than lived up to its claim. It was fantastic to free dive down and not come up with a snorkel full of salt water. I often end up with severe cotton mouth after spending a day clearing saltwater from my snorkel. I rest assured that those days will be few and far between with this excellently designed snorkel.

Shortly after purchasing the ScubaPro Orbit, I had the chance to try it out Floridas pristine springs. Water visibility was ideal allowing me to fully appreciate the masks exceptional wide field of view. I experienced no barrel distortion around the edges of the mask and its low volume and snug fit made for easy clearing. Excellent quality silicone skirt. Easy to adjust straps. Price was reasonable with consideration to its top notch quality. This ones a winner and has now become my primary mask.
