Scuba Gear Reviews by Troy Woodyard

Rating: Perfect vest for warm water diving

I dive mostly warm water locations. I dont like wearing a full wetsuit and a rash guard binds in the armpits, so I thought I would try this thin vest. It is perfect! It keeps my BCD from rubbing my skin and it fit great. I highly recommend it and the price was great, too.

Rating: Good bag for the price

I needed a mesh bag to take onto the dive boat and this one works great. Its big enough to hold a full set of gear and its constructed well.

Scuba BC Knife
Rating: Scuba-BC-Knife good knife for the price

I bought this knife to attach to my BCD. I like the sharp point better than the blunt. The sharp just seems to be a better design. The low cost keeps from caring if I lose it. Make sure you dry it and wipe it with oil after use - it will rust. Also make sure the screws are tight in scabbard - mine were not.

Princeton Tec Torrent L.E.D. Dive Light
Rating: Princeton-Tec-Torrent-L.E.D.-Dive-Light Only one of two worked

Bought two of these lights for a recent dive trip to Domican Republic. One light failed on the first dive. The seal let sea water into the housing and the ruined the light. The other one worked great and was far brighter than the light I had to borrow from the Dive Shop. Hopefully I can exchange the bad one.
