Valve was easy to install and works great for switching between DIN and yoke.
at first glance reels can look very similar in appearance. this reel has all the solid features necessary for a reliable and easy to use reel. dont waste your time buying a reel without any features it will just cause you problems while diving. this reel has features that will minimize clumsy usage while diving including an incremental stop.
For the features in this price range its either the Suunto Zoop or this guy. Bought the DRAK interface as well but had to buy different software to be able to use on Mac OSX. I download my dives using the DRAK interface and MacDive for OSX since Mares doesnt provide MAC software or Windows software than will work under Bootcamp or VirtualPC emulators. At first it didnt download at all with the MacDive software but after a few days of emails to the software developer, it has not failed since. Solid solution for divers using MacDive on OSX and DiveLog on iPad. I can see depth profile, SAC rates, Air start and end, and lowest temp.
This suit is very warm. Ive used it down to 50C. Had to stop because my gloves(4mm) were not cutting it it the cold. Its easier to get in and out of compared to neoprene. The stitching on the cuffs is already coming apart on one side after less than a month of use. Consider a different suit perhaps.
Has plenty of D-rings and pockets. Plenty of room for soft weights. The only thing I did not like so much is the bottom rear dump valve has to be oriented just right to function. Still an excellent BCD. MRS weight system is so-so. Can be difficult to snap-in the release mechanism.
Took it down to 95 feet. Works excellent at depth.
Very easy to use. Big dump and inflator buttons. Has a decent regulator.
